Can only see this happening if Eriksen is leaving, even for us this is too much money to spend in 1 window :cautious:

If Lo Celso is still basically done guessing we're seeing if theres a deal with eriksen money + rose. Gobsmacked if we made it over all the hurdles for this to happen.

Probs makes more sense than Lo Celso considering how he can play upfront too.

My guess though is that the club has leaked this to put pressure on Betis.

As much as I'd love this to be true, it seems like a long shot. Wonder if it's just agents doin' their thang? Lobbying for their client to get what they want at their current club.

If there's even a modicum of truth to this, then I would also wonder if this is in lieu of moving for Lo Celso, or we're genuinely after both.

If the latter, then I'd be 82.5% certain that Daniel Levy has been replaced by a Spurs-supporting Skrull. :geek:

Tottenham in talks with Juventus over sensational £80m swoop for Argentine forward Paulo Dybala
  • Tottenham are ready to spend big in a bid to deliver the silverware they crave
  • Spurs officials have spoken to Juventus over an audacious move for Paulo Dybala
  • They are ready to break their own transfer record - set earlier this summer
  • Dybala's capture would be regarded as a huge coup for Mauricio Pochettino
Tottenham have contacted Juventus over an audacious £80million swoop for striker Paulo Dybala.

In a shock move which would deliver a stunning statement of intent, the beaten Champions League finalists are ready to spend big in a bid to deliver the silverware the club's supporters crave.

Spurs officials have spoken to their counterparts in Turin over the 25-year-old striker and are ready to break their own transfer record - set earlier this summer - to bring him to north London.

Dybala, an Argentina international, is regarded as one of the best forwards in the world and his capture would be regarded as a huge coup for Mauricio Pochettino.

He has suffered from the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo at Juventus, scoring just 10 goals last season, and the Italians are thought to be prepared to listen to offers.

While a successful move - which would smash the £65m agreed with Lyon for Tanguy Ndombele earlier this month - is regarded as ambitious, Spurs are serious about exploring the possibility of bringing Dybala to the club and setting up what could become a fearsome partnership with Harry Kane in the process.

It can be disclosed that initial contact was made around a month ago, and the fascinating prospect remains on the radar as chairman Daniel Levy looks to back his manager - although Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain are both reported to be in the running.

The weird thing is that why would we put pressure on Betis for GLC with a completely different type of player?!

Have to believe it is he or GLC unless Eriksen is sold then would potentially be both.

To have a realistic chance of getting someone like Dybala is just weird.

I can only see him coming in if Eriksen is going out.

Ndombele, Lo Celso and Dybala would be beyond any of my expectations for this window.

We shall see....

Surely it’s him or Lo Celso
