Maybe they had a replacement all lined up but it then fell through?

Their deadline isn't for a while so I they still wouldn't need to all of a sudden pull the plug. Also like I say it's been pretty widely reported that they decided they wanted to sell him to recover some cash so they would surely still be "happy" to let him go for the right price even if they didn't have an immediate replacement lined up. It's not like we've pursuaded them to let him go and they've gone "Ok well let's just see if we can get a replacement first", they were actively trying to offload him for a while.

I think they feel they can't lose both mandzukic and Dybala, if they loose the former, Dybala can play out wide or in the centre at a pinch.

I thin Eriksen would fit in a Sarri side. He presses very well and passes very well, so it would work. But, he cant play up front, which means they would be short in that part of the pitch. If we were to give them a player, Moura would make much more sense. Though, why would we do that?
I would give up Moura for Dybala.

Then again, I would give my left nut and my 1st born child for Dybala, so maybe I am not the best person to ask.

If it helps at all - I know sometimes my "I work in an industry that sells multi-million pound assets" are annoying - but I genuinely did a deal two weeks ago that was literally dead the week before. "Insurmountable" was the word used by my client. Deal went through didn't it. It was a slight snag that needed some clever people to think for an hour or two. All the big deals I am involved with have last minute snaggles and agents panicking. The Real Estate press is hardly as big as the Football Rumours press, but things get leaked (deliberately and unintentionally) all the time.

I don't know if that helps. But until that final dong rings (hehe, dong) then I'd take everything fairly lightly.

don't go talking sense in here you fucking loon....

Well, I for one will certainly not be using ImageStar as my go-to source of image rights from now on.

#DownWithImageStar #Boo-urns

(They're so dodgy they don't even appear to have a website, unless they have a sideline selling printer cartridges)

Got a feeling this one is going to happen chaps, just hope someone checked the cable to Levy's fax machine during that wiring fiasco at NWHL otherwise he is going to click send at 16:59 and the fire alarms are going off :nailbiting:

Since the notion of a loan has arisen I've had Dybalalala, Dybalalalala, Loan, Loan, Loan, Loan (UB40) constantly in my head.

As you were.

Yeah I'm not giving up until last knockings, we found a creative solution for Lo Celso, we can find one for Dybala.

I have a feeling we will not pursue this until the last minute if Image Star is not going to give in one way or another. Probably the last 2 hours or so we will fall back to placing priorities in other areas, either in the RB or letting some deadwood leave.

Well if it is image rights then it's more in our hands than Juve's - Lets hope our bald, teflon coated, short arsed gatekeeper can get this one done - Dan, it's over to you ;)

Feels like people were aware of a meeting taking place, and when the meeting finished without an agreement people came up with loads of different stories as to why the deal wasn't finished. But very few actually knew the exact details and if the deal is salvageable or not.

Okay you're seemingly cool head and logic isn't needed right now, thank you very much.
Bring me back madness and chaos.
