So how do we pronounce the Ø in his name now that I need to learn it?
The Danish Ø is a bit weird as it's often just pronounced like a standard O, and Danes barely pronounce consonantes at the best of times so yes the G is silent, not like the Norwegian Bergs who have been in the PL over the years.Seen a few Danes say his name is pronounced Hoy-byer if that makes sense. Silent G at the end.
Hoy-byear is probably the closest I can Anglify it.
