So how do we pronounce the Ø in his name now that I need to learn it?
Seen a few Danes say his name is pronounced Hoy-byer if that makes sense. Silent G at the end.
The Danish Ø is a bit weird as it's often just pronounced like a standard O, and Danes barely pronounce consonantes at the best of times so yes the G is silent, not like the Norwegian Bergs who have been in the PL over the years.

Hoy-byear is probably the closest I can Anglify it.

How do you even get an Ø on an English keyboard? Genuinely asking as I've had a Norwegian keyboard on my laptop or PC ever since I was a kid.

Obviously it's easy enough on a phone.

Some people struggled to spell Eriksen properly we're screwed with this lad
It boggles my mind that people can see a name on a player's back for a number of years and are still never able to write the name correctly. Zokora, Eriksen and Gomes aren't hard to spell, yet we constantly saw Zakora, Erikson, Ericksen, Eriksson and Gomez on here.

I can accept that Højbjerg is harder to get right, especially with the ø.

This is what we need more of in our midfield. A scrappy fucker that will run through brick walls for the team. Take note Ndombele.

Genuinely not bothered by fee - let the bean counters sort the finances; just want Maureen to get the players he needs within the boundaries of our expenditure
