Reading the comments on him on saintsweb seems that there are a lot of posters saying he’s absolute crap and would want to replace him with a youth player, and a lot saying he’s rubbish but they wouldn’t be able to replace him.
While I do value the opinions of people who watch players week in/week out, there seems to be a whole lot of hate for a leaving player on their forum (as is the case with a lot of forums). Mixed in with the usual dislike Spurs generally.
Whenever a player is leaving it’s amazing how they suddenly become ‘crap’ to some supporters. Childish.

That's like the 4th or 5th post he's liked indicating his desire to join us. Pierre's either out here dropping hints or has an incredibly fat finger lmao.

Hes so crap he starts every game for them and was made captain.

Absolute nonsense from them, I dont think you appreciate a good DM workhorse until your desperately needing one.

This! It is a key position for the right balance in any team. Altho you can have a more ball playing DM, it is also very important to have that workhorse for the games that screams for it, which will probably be most of them in a Jose setup like it or not :S Lets just hope he will be good enough.

Sissoko has a great attitude, and there are games where he is useful tactically, where application and athleticism are more important than technique on the ball. He just needs to be only used for those occasions

He’s symptomatic of our decline since when we were good under Poch. If we had a better alternative he’d be forgotten immediately. Can’t wait for him to go.

I just don't want him to be relied upon anymore.... If we need to bring him on in the latter stages of a match for physicality and energy then I won't mind, but him being one of the first names on the sheet when it comes to our midfield, due to lack of suitable options, I really hope will be a thing of the past.
