Genuinely not bothered by fee - let the bean counters sort the finances; just want Maureen to get the players he needs within the boundaries of our expenditure
I'm very happy with the fee. It's much closer to what we wanted than what they wanted, even though Southampton will try and spin this. A few months ago the rumour was it would be 15m + kwp, it is now going to be less that 5m + kwp. That difference we probably don't even need to sell to balance. So it makes out window a lot easier.

So we had a fee less than £25m but a lot more than the initial£15m turn out to possible be £15m rising to £19m

Southampton fans must be pissed off at the moment
:D

They don't seem it at all. In the forums.

Mind, their journalists are saying different figures. Which is normal in these circumstances.

Seems Levy has pulled another great deal off for us, but in all honesty, with the player saying ‘only Spurs’ and with a year left on his contract, it’s the kind of deal you’d expect Levy to manage successfully. After all, he IS a fantastic businessman. Adding in the fact that they wanted KWP (I’m still unsure if us selling him is a good move, but heh hoh). I would think the wheels for this were all set in motion back in Dec/Jan. Lining up all the ducks etc. Nicely done, and well played, #1 target and for a fraction of his actual value. Levy must have loved this deal.

You learning to say his name,
Now learn to spell his name with that Ø
Hojbjerg with HØJBJERG

Practice it lads
I reckon the admins should add a drop down with all the hard to spell or often misspelt player names so that we can just click them to the clipboard before we paste into our posts!

Not yet, the one I looked at think they are getting £20m and add-ons...
The 15m +add-ons has just made it there.

Look, they'll claim 20 we will claim 15 everyone saves face.

Mind, I don't think the fans actually ever saw him as a 25m player, so doubt there will be much disappointment.

Pretty much the Spurs journos have been briefed the initial fee (£15mil) and the Saints journos have been briefed what it could rise up to (£20mil). Like you said. Everyone just wants to look like they’ve come out on top.

They could even be told it's around 20m with add ons, which would technically be correct but could be interpreted to mean could be up to 25 you know. The fee will never be publicly announced, as is the fashion these days and we won't ever know.

They could also have stuck in a word filter to correct all the persistent 'Erickson', 'Erikksen', 'Ericcson' etc. but never have, so I think you expect too much :ROFLMAO::)

The Danish Ø is a bit weird as it's often just pronounced like a standard O, and Danes barely pronounce consonantes at the best of times so yes the G is silent, not like the Norwegian Bergs who have been in the PL over the years.

Hoy-byear is probably the closest I can Anglify it.

Very close. the "jerg" in "bjerg" is pronounced "yeah/y-air". So 'Hoy-byeah would be somewhat closer I'd say.
Høj (high) Bjerg (mountain/hill). Højbjerg is an area in the southern part of Aarhus.
Extremely difficult to pronounce much like some Belgian and Dutch names.
