How many Sky Sports reporters does it take to report on the most public transfer rumour of the last few weeks?

2. Clearly more work than any 1 man can handle at sky.

In the BS chronology scale, is 'edging closer' nearer or further than 'the next 48 hours'?

Brighton sign Lallana straight simple done. Levy has to change tactics it's so drawn out. If we've identified players we need to more quick enough with the breakmanship people know who we are.

Bit of a disingenuous comparison considering that Lallana had left liverpool and was a free agent. PEH is still under contract at Southampton and they want a premium transfer fee. The personal terms will likely be a quick agreement

you are right the comparison in transfer don't have the same conditions nevertheless I would like us to move more swiftly in concluding deals.

Transfer window has been over for just over 24 hours and you're starting already?

I love it when players 'edge' towards us. I can just see them sidling slowly in our direction with their backs against the wall as if they're trying not to fall from a ledge.

Edit.

I also like it when we 'close in on' players. We're obviously executing some kind of manoeuvre (perhaps a pincer movement) to corner them, giving them no means of escape except to sign for us. Our shadow gradually dominates them, forcing them to cower beneath us while we hand them the pen and contract.

Haven't Everton offered 25 mil and been accepted and we only offered 15?
Unlikely to be as simple as that. The headline £25m figure released to the press will no doubt include stage payments and performance related bonuses.
