My favourite joke of his was when he sarcastically kicked Cassano in the head I reckon

In fairness, Cassano almost certainly deserved it. I love Cassano but he's definitely one of those people that can't complain when they get a slap

Most of his goals where classic poacher goals or headers - yes. But similarly to Kane he developed his playmaking / hold up play over the years and he was actually fantastic before his injury at United. I know "Best of clips" doesn't tell the whole story...

Zlatan pre and post injury were like two completely different players though, the spark had gone completely. Sure he scored some great goals in MLS, but I don't see how he can do the business in the PL any more.

I like the idea of 6 months of Zlatan here for the lols, but it's probably not the best idea.

I am fully behind a new recruitment strategy of only signing players for shithousery purposes. Hopefully we've already tapped up Ramos, Maradona and Chris Eubank for January.

I'm not in any manner advocating for us to sign Zlatan. Just to make that clear.

Haha. Absurd if true.

Edit: Maybe it's a PR stunt and he's buying a share of the club or something similar. That wouldn't surprise me to be honest.

PR stunt, nothing to see here. I doubt Zlatan will play in Allsvenskan again as there are too many artificial pitches and the money isn't there. Zlatan will either find one last payday in a "big" club or retire.

Would be a weird move for him. If he does go back to Allsvenskan then it wouldn't be for the money etc. It would just be a sort of homecoming, on which case I don't see why he'd go to Hammarby, who are from Stockholm. He would surely go back to Malmö or something if that was what he was doing.

He's not from Sweden?

He's from a part of Sweden that is really looked down on by other Swedes, especially those from Stockholm. People literally go to the border of that region and "dig" on New year's Day in the half-joking hope that it will break off and float away to Denmark. He speaks with a very distinct accent from that region as well When you add that to the fact that he's also from a part of Malmö that is synonymous with refugees/immigrants who are "unwanted" by the elite/upper class Swedes, I find it quite hard to believe he would call moving to a posh bit of Stockholm "going home".

It would be a bit like a more extreme version of saying Robbie Fowler moving to Fulham was going home for example.

Well. He's going home in the same sense that say...

Harry Kane left for other leagues and then came back but joined Manchester United and people said that "Harry came home". So yeah, if Sweden is home then sure. But Malmö FF would be home.

But then again, he has said numerous times that he would never play in Sweden again. Might have changed his mind.

EDIT: Very generous to compare Hammarby and Manchester U btw, but whatever..

He's probably planned on doing it when retired either way. He bought the place in 2015.
When he fully retires I imagine he's going to be some kind of media personality and already has some business interests, so it would make sense to be in the capital.
