Looking at a map - they seem to be 7 hours apart? Unless I'm looking at the wrong thing? If they're 7 hours apart, these Malmo fans need to grow tf up.

I only accept proximity based football rivalry.

It's almost as if erecting a statue in your home city and weeks later announcing you're buying shares in a rival club from a rival city isn't a wise thing to do. Who would've thought?

It was awful timing wasn't it!!?! I wonder if Malmo knew about his plans?

Speaking of timing, I wonder if we would have made a move for Ibra if he hadn't agreed his move to Milan just before Harry's injury? Jose said that we wouldn't look at him as he wouldn't get any game time with Kane here.

It's fucking Sweden, there's nothing in close proximity.

Not even Hammarby were aware of anything when he posted the Hammarby shirt on his instagram.

It's classic big regional city vs country capital stuff. Lot of resentment there.

Plus the Swedes have a much larger hooligan problem than you might think.

Zlatan with a cheeky knee to the head on one of the Cagliari player after 30 sec. He’s back alright

and there it is, his first Serie A goal since leaving AC Milan in 2012

Ok, no haven’t seen the doc or read the book. Thanks for clarifying! Not a bad output for someone just coasting ?

Moving to the appropriate place, but it's a really good book (if exaggerated in places). Quite old now, so most of it is online.

This is excerpt I was talking about:

Is this from his Ajax time?

Yeah, when LvG came in.

He loved him

"Van Gaal was a pompous arse. He was a little like Co Adriaanse. He wanted to be a dictator, without a hint of a gleam in his eye. As a player he'd never stood out, but he was revered in the Netherlands because as a manager he'd won the Champions League with Ajax and received some medal from the government"

Back in Jan on a 'pay as you play' deal apparently.

Fantastic insight from him below about how important it is for someone, even if they aren't playing regularly, to be in the dressing room keeping morale up and trying to push everyone to their best.
