I’ve seen tweets referencing ‘AS’ and ‘SportsMediaset’ in recent hours too.
I have seen similar links but there are no stories that don't quote 'bernabeu digital'.

On a similar note, I have never heard of them before. The bernabeu bit makes them sound reliable, but their twitter feed is essentially a news aggregator, that even mentioned earlier today that they are still chasing Pogba.,

I do wonder if Eriksen leaves it will be Ndombele, LC, and maybe Zaha if Bale isn't doable.

To lose Eriksen and only bring in the first two wouldnt be enough imo.
I think a bit of a reality check is needed. If we were to lose Eriksen and replace him with GLC and also land N'Dombele , I don't think we would be looking for anyone else in midfeld and Poch would be happy with Winks, Sissoko and Dier plus up and coming Skipp, Marsh and possibly Amos. I think Zaha is pretty much out of the question at the asking price and Palace don't need to sell having already sold AWB.

Don't really agree with that, I think if we're serious, increasing quality in depth in the creative department is absolutely essential.

Eriksen has been huge for us. If lamela was fit the majority of the time I'd say we'd be fine with just those two coming in... but he isn't.

And don't forget Eriksen has been hugely reliable and we've taken that for granted. LC could come in and not offer the same amount of game time Eriksen has... So what do we do if LC is prone to more injury?

If we want to improve we need these two in addition to keeping Eriksen, or another quality signing if Eriksen leaves.

Apparently Poch wants to build a side to win the title, that is supposedly what he told Ndombele to convince him to move to us. I bet Ndombele is really looking forward to partnering Skipp in CM when Winks and Sissoko inevitably get knocks.

Simply replacing Dembele and Eriksen is not enough, if this happens Levy has pulled the wool over our eyes yet again. We are supposed to be strenghening the squad! If GLC does replace Eriksen as he goes to Madrid, then we need to sign another top attacking player on top of Ndombele and GLC.

With Ndombele signing, Winks's improvement and Sissoko's revival, Dier as back up, and if we get GLC who can also player deeper too, we are ok in CM. But for our creative midfield positions, if Eriksen goes, we will need GLC and another. If Eriken stays, adding GLC will have us looking strong. But it's really that black and white.

There are no excuses, and I won't be fooled by Levy simply replacing two senior players this summer, and then signing a bunch of kids. And yes, Sess brothers and Clarke are kids.

For me, the signing of Ndombele, and an Eriksen replacement if he leaves, is the absolute bare minimum Levy should be doing this summer, anything less would be basically sabotaging our season. But without additional strengthening, I'll sadly have to say Levy has one again failed us and Poch and conclude he has absolute zero ambition for us to mount a proper title challenge. We will see, I still remain optimistic because frankly anything less would be letting Poch down and I think Levy for once, will actually back his man properly.. he has to.

yes, to be fair, I agree with that actually but I can only see it happening if Lamela leaves. Eriksen has been generally underappreciated on here ( especially in match threads) and we were one injury away from no creativity at all but , its the boring old Harry Kane argument, we won't sign the likes of Isco to sit on the bench so need to identify someone a bit less high profile to compete for a place. I really don't think Zaha will happen though.

Yeah, you sound massively optimistic.

If we’re wanting another young Madrid player in part X I hope it’s Hakimi, quick, attack minded and very exciting full back who’s competent both as a left and right back.

I don't know if this has been covered in previous pages but given the main signings Poch is trying to make, it appeared to me that we were actually looking to move away from having a Eriksen type of creative player who's all over the pitch picking up the ball and trying to dictate things (quite often from deep). I was getting the impression that isn't how he's trying to play now, and that we will have N'Dom and GLC (added to Winks and Sissoko) bringing the ball forward as much as possible, rather than having to continually have a creative player picking the ball up themselves (as Eriksen or Dele did last season). Dele is very creative and links the attack well when on song, he just was out of sorts a lot last season and also had to play deeper than previous season. I might be completely wrong but i don't see us buying an Eriksen type of replacement, i see the signing of GLC as a replacement in numbers for Eriksen, but Dele as his replacement for link play with Kane and Son.

Jesus christ would you lot chill out. Other than a few crap reports there is nothing to strongly suggest Eriksen is off to Madrid. There are still more reports of Pogba having showdown talks with Ole to say he wants to go to Madrid.

ITK has been more positive also to him signing unless I have missed something?
I was saying this earlier...Its literally one source called Bernabeu digital, who may be madrid related but ive never heard if before. AS and the like are then quoting this story and people think its come from multiple sources. But it hasn't.

Not helped by the fact you can go....Messi wants Tottenham move (sky sports)...and people believe it without checking the actual source.

I deleted my post as I just saw Hercs ITK. It made it sound like the reports could actually be true so I stand corrected.

If these rumors have truth then Spurs are going to have to convince any player that's deemed surplus to requirements at Real to come and play for us.

Sounds like a lot of ball ache if you ask me.
