If he goes, he goes but we need more than Lo Celso if we’re serious about improving- Zaha or Bale or a similarly dynamic player and Lo Celso would be an upgrade but definitely not just a straight change with Eriksen and Lo Celso
Would definitely rather another midfielder whether it's a DM or CM than spunking silly money on a forward.

I felt like we needed one more midfielder coming in even with Eriksen staying.

If he goes we’ll need two in

If they offer us cash plus Asensio for Eriksen then we’ve absolutely robbed them blind

I don't think people realise how good Asensio is, I went to Madrid the weekend after we beat them at wembley and got to witness him hit this one.

That goal aside, absolute quality player

Can definitely see Bale being part of some complicated equation if they really want Eriksen.

I know. But the noises about Bale and Zaha make me think we’re looking in that area too. Perhaps changing our minds about Clarke and loaning him back to Leeds is linked to this too

Not a hope in hell we get Asensio. If we get Lo Celso, NDombele and Ceballos, that’s a fair attempt at replacing Eriksen and Dembele.

Bale makes sense as he can play more up top. Llorente leaving leaves us light of attacking-but-on-bench options. Whatever his success, he racked up plenty of sub appearances and minutes.

Bale would give us more flexibility to have 2 of him/Son/Lucas on the bench without having to put a conservative first XI out.

If/looking like when Eriksen signs for Madrid, signing Lo Celso would be great but doesn’t solve the issue of depth or competition at that position. Quite possible that Dele assumes that position and runs with it but still don’t see many central attackers in the squad.

Isco for me. Would be a dream come true to have him in a Tottenham shirt. Though I only really watch Spurs, so I have no idea how Asensio stacks up against him.

Yeh we cannot simply do Lo Celso & Ndombele. As others have mentioned that is simply replacing Dembele and Eriksen, get Lo Celso and perhaps Isco as you say and we have strengthened.

Dele isn’t that player, Lo Celso will need competition just as Eriksen needed it.

The constant links to ceballos makes me think that they are offering him to us as part of getting eriksen. They won’t go away.

I do wonder if Eriksen leaves it will be Ndombele, LC, and maybe Zaha if Bale isn't doable.

To lose Eriksen and only bring in the first two wouldnt be enough imo.
