Real shame how things have gone with Eriksen; should have been a club legend, but ultimately will be seen as a bit of a tit by Spurs fans

He's only got himself to blame though

Not just a bit of a tit. When he leaves he goes down as a nothing to me, a player I won’t remember or particular want to look back at with any sort of fondness. A bit like Berbatov, no matter how good he was for us, the way he left means I couldn’t care less about the guy.

Ultimately I want Eriksen to go to Inter or wherever and totally and utterly fail.

We know what type of performance we'll get from him, it's gotten to the point where this all lies on Jose now. I know Eriksen is the one committing the 'crimes' every week but Jose surely has to recognise he's not giving enough on the pitch.

You might not feel it now but as a fan base it is better to stay as classy as we can and think of all the good he has done for us. He won’t be here much longer and he's a human being who has put more into Spurs than many of our past players.

His drop of in quality is so alarming I suspect there is a little more to it than just waning to move clubs.

I think there's a real possibility that might happen.

As with anything in life, you have to keep good-habits going and he's been lazy for quite a while now, and totally off-pace.

If it doesn't work out for him in Italy, then suddenly he's 30 and isn't getting a move to the elite clubs.

He looks absolutely lost. And he's been woeful when I watch Denmark as well.

Lo Celso / Lamela provide 10x the energy. They need to play over Eriksen.

It’s one thing to play poorly, it’s another when the player simply doesn’t give a fuck. Sick to death of Eriksen and genuinely hope we never see him play for Spurs again.

Nerazzurri and the midfielder find an agreement for a contract until 2024. Now we have to find the one with the Spurs: they want 20 million, but the Dane is about to contract ...
Reading time: 2 minutes

Inter and Christian Eriksen are ready to say yes. A verbal agreement for a contract until 2024 was sketched in the last few hours between the Nerazzurri leaders and the entourage of the Danish midfielder expiring in a contract with Tottenham. Obviously before moving on to the facts, the English club's consent is required for the immediate transfer and the CEO. Marotta has not yet made contact with Daniel Levy, number one of the Spurs. According to the London banks, the request for the tag fluctuates around 20 million euros, but in Viale della Liberazione they expect to get a lower price

Whatever happens next regarding his transfer, he needs dropping from the squad.

Imagine being a professional marathon runner, but every time you compete, you have to wear one shoe smaller than your normal size. That’s what it’s like playing him this season; he disadvantages the team significantly

This is the saddest situation with a player for some time.

We should be sad he's leaving, but thanking him for the service, and wishing him all the best. Instead, there's cheers when he gets brought off, and will be relieved when he's now gone.

He was awful today. And for the good years he was here, its sad if that's his final performance for us.

The worst part might be that I have this feeling the first game he plays for his new club he’s going to look like the Old Eriksen immediately.

A sad goodbye for me if it is, while (people will have noticed) I have been aggravated by his performances over the last year, he brought a lot in his time here too, shame the way it's ended up.

IF this is it that is.

Would take 20 Bensons and a packet of Monster Munch for him right now. Sad how it has all turned out but inevitable as he so clearly didn’t want to be here this past season.

If indeed his last farewell, it makes me sad.

I don't think he is entirely to blame, Levy probably cock blocked him in the summer with ridiculous demands.

Thanks Christian, you were great for us mostly.

Read he got booed off when subbed but didn’t see it. Anyone got a snip of his sub so I can hear if he was indeed booed??
