Reading his article, he lists a whole host of names, including grealish, maddison, Cantwell, eze, fernandes and ziyech...but when he talks about each option, the only one that seems remotely doable is eze. Dont get me wrong, I think Eze will be a top player, but you dont replace a player like eriksen with a player with no top flight experience.
No, you replace a top player like Eriksen with Lo Celso, settled in for a season. You then have the bright young prospect as his back up, something Eriksen never had.

You also hope that players like Ndombele, Gedson and possibly a defensive mid (where the money should go) can play quicker one touch football, meaning you never really have any desperate need for a one man creative band.

For me, Eze would be bought in more to put pressure on alli, even son, not lo celso. If we really have ambitions, we get eze in the summer on top of a proper eriksen replacement. Even if that's jack grealish, the style of play needs to be similar. We need bodies all over the park.

I wasn't specifically talking about Eze style wise, just that I wouldn't be expecting or even demand a 60mil direct replacement. We addressed that last summer.

I disagree on that. If there's one area we don't need bodies, its attacking midfield. We are stacked with attacking options and non defensive central mids. Son, Alli, Moura, Lamela, GLC, Sessegnon...then Gedson, Winks, Ndombele, Sissoko. I really don't think that area is a priority.

It’s all complete guesswork. Anyone could have written that article.

It’s clear Ally Gold is not and never has been ITK on transfers. He lives and breathes the club and writes hundreds of articles, but he doesn’t have anyone on the inside giving him transfer policy.

In recent times it seems Dan Kilpatrick has some links, but let’s see if he continues to get things right under Mourinho.

Ally Gold is fed his transfer stuff by the club. He was one of the few ITK/Journos who shot down any deals happening the summer of 2018. The way he reports certain transfers like how mhch he went on about Ndombele was a clear indicator that it was going to happen.

I dont know why people discredit him more than they do ITK sources because his track record is pretty fucking strong.

What`s Christians problem? Why doesn`t he want to play for us any more? I could understand his desire for a move to Real or Barcelona, but Inter..?! Seems like he just wants a move far away from London and Spurs. Why?

Cough, Jan Vertonghen

Maybe we are all getting ahead of ourselves here. It’s still not been reported in all the tabloids and the more reliable sites.

I wouldn’t rule eriksen being here past the window just yet

In the Guardian between the anti Trump articles

I agree with this. Really don’t understand the Eriksen replacement talk - we already have Lo Celso. Also it looks like Alli will be our number 10 - so where would a Eriksen replacement play?

Have to say, this has been my thoughts for a while, more truth to the rumour than made out.

times for for lack of performance and you could almost understand why he’d want a fresh start, I guess similar issues with beers as well.

would crush you though, best mate doing that
