He’ll be remembered well in years to come. Just a shame it came to this point, think he would have left on better terms had it been last summer

Berbatov got loads of shit when he left but he always gets a warm reception now

Wonderful player. On his day one of the best in the league. Maybe never aggressive enough, and his shying away from them one on one challenges but passing, shooting, assisting, scoring etc he was brilliant.

He's the rare combination of extremely talented and extremely hard working, certainly one of my favourite ever Spurs players for a time. I'd say that the only thing that held him back from becoming one of the absolute best was lacking that ruthless winning mentality. He seems indifferent far too often, similar to Ozil, albeit working harder defensively.

I hope he does well at Inter and enjoys the experience of living in Milan. No hard feelings here. Good luck, Christian.

All the very best Eriksen. Its a real shame the club failed to capitilise with you in the team.

And its a shame your heart wasn't in it for the last year.

Quality player.

Is it wrong to think hes a bit of a cock for not saying anything about Spurs or the fans while hes announcing that hes moved?

Or am I being precious

I kind of don't blame him to be honest. With all the vitriol aimed at him over social media these past 8 or so months, he probably doesn't want to interact too much with people who post about Tottenham.

I'm happy he got a good move, though, and I'm happy we moved on as well. I liked him a lot but no one is bigger than the club.

I don’t get how Inter is a step up for him though, the Italian league has seen better days.

You're right

Pro football players only play for their dream team or a team they auppoft

The real fans do. It's why i turned down Liverpool, Man Utd, arsenal, Chelsea and Real Madrid, and settled for life in marketing.
