Loved him at his peak, was probably my favourite player back then but as good as he is, when motivated, I don't think he has the mentality I want to see in our players, I want fighters.

Don’t want him back, personally, was very poor for us in his final season (probably longer) and has been poor in Milan as well.

Id take him back but dont think he will be first choice - then again I dont think you can ever have a first choice team anymore. Its about rotation - particularly this year.

Its a hell no from me!

Skriniar, Milik and Eriksen would be a phenomenal end to our business though. I’d go for it, ultimately he has a skill set that we need, just needs to know where he stands with us if it happens with competition in the mould of Gio and Tanguy. If there’s a deal to be had I’d seriously consider it.

Way too soon for talks of Eriksen coming back for me. We are trying to change the mentality of the team and don't think bringing a player who was part of our talented side that could not get across the finish line is not something I would like to do.

Also think as his move was somewhat of a sidestep, it would feel like he is just coming back as he didn't settle.

That being said, if there was a favourable loan that could be done I would not mind him coming in as cover for GLC and Tanguy and earning his place in the team.

Should he return, it would give fuel to some of the more outlandish rumours from last season.

For Eriksen of 2 seasons ago maybe, but for me he shat on us big time. I know a lot of other fans don't feel the same way as I do so that's fair enough.

Defoe left and returned. Kaboul, Sheringham and Klinsmann!

Eriksen watched our team huff and puff to no avail in regards to trophies and who can forgive him for wanting to try another move before his career ended?

He made no bones about seeing out his contract, which he was perfectly within his rights to do so, and for all that people say he was poor in the last season, he was the player we turned to to switch things up and get us in the game. The run to the CL final papered over the need for a squad refresh, on Levy, and Poch himself seemed to lose his mojo, who can blame the players?

IF he is an option at the end of the window and we have no other targets, he'd be a fool not to leave Inter, and if we haven't signed an equivalent, we'd be fools to pass on him at the right price.

Conte seems to not value him. Whether a return to retread old ground is a good idea, who knows? Teddy managed to score a fair bit on his return.

But if motivated, a fit and skillful Eriksen could be the exact piece to complete the puzzle (other than a striker and CH, obvs).

Eriksen back for little money works for me. He could well come back and realise the grass is not always greener...The whole squad fell off a cliff last year.If re-motivated and on his day he is class...competing with Gio and tanguy for places and maybe he will flick Alli's switch too...means our squad looks astonishing if we buy Milik and Skriniar...If we lose Sissoko Aurier Gazanigga, then honestly he is worth a shot this club could well b e in for a title chase ...we really would not be far off...Plus the squad would be geared up for all the competitions we are in
A huge advantage is he knows the club and many of the players, so should not take much to re-integrate
Finally he could have left for zero fee and did not so, there is probably some good will there.

Not the same player he was, ageing, burnt out, lost his mojo, 260k - 320k wages, and they're talking of him as a 40m player despite flopping big time. Such a big chance he'd come back broken, without heart. The way I see it we'd do Inter a favor by taking him and easing their financial loss on the player, so should be a very cheap deal for it to make sense as a gamble. They've increased his wages a lot and he's not been as good as they hoped for - 15m and a pay cut then it's worth looking at

He can fuck right off. We’re not talking Modric here, who left on a high and went on to greater things. He’s become emblematic of the last days of the Pochettino squad- a once exquisite player now ineffective and exasperating. Shouldn’t go anywhere near him

is there any credible info this is even possible? if you google Eriksen news it just talks about him starting against Fiorentina.

Eriksen will never get back to the level we fondly remember, he's just going through the motions now. I feel like he's done as a top class player. The bit in the docu where he said something along the lines of footballers being a commodity, told to go here go there get paid this much etc etc. was very telling.

I don't think he enjoys being a professional footballer these days, I could see him switching clubs a few times in the next few years, slowly fizzling out and eventually calling it quits having never again gotten close to the levels he did with us a few years ago.
