In all seriousness, this is really dumb. Eriksen was bad for us, we all thought it was because he was unhappy here but then he went to Inter and proceeded to be bad there after a dream move. He may just not be that good anymore.

Also, wages are a thing and the fact that there is young talent out there we should be targeting instead, big no for me.
Tend to agree.

Eriksen can’t get into the Inter side, why would he deserve to come back and make our bench, let alone our starting XI? Him and his agent bent us over a barrel for 2 years. Fuck him if he thinks we’re going to get his career back on track. This is karma.

My opinion is that I do/don't want him back because he was awesome before his head was turned/not good enough for the last 18 months.

Hope that clears up the debate!

This. He made up his mind and didnt want to play for us when he thought he was the bees knees. Now it has hit him that the grass is not actually greener so he wants to return. I would rather stick with the less "talented" players like Sissoko and Lamela who would run through walls for us

A re-motivated Eriksen would fix our creativity reliance on Lo Celso issue but really can’t see him wanting to return and definitely can’t see us paying more money than we were got for him only last January.

People might not like it but if it was Dele out and that meant a ST, CB and Erisken in that would be our squad basically complete in terms of balance, quality and depth but either way I really can’t see him coming back.

Don’t want Eriksen back his career is on a downward curve now. Thought the move to inter would have perked him up but it doesn’t seem to have worked that way seeing as they are looking to sell after a few months

We need a sad emoji response...

For his sake I hope this isn't the case. Such a talent. Good servant to the club. Left for more than we paid etc. Personally, I think we must have our eye on someone, since ITK says we acknowledge the need, but imagine him with Lo Celso and a fit Ndombele, behind Bale, Kane and Son...
Think if we get enough players out, we’ll try for Brooks during the supplemental window where we can trade with the EFL.

It’s just the wrong player to buy isn’t it?

leaving aside his remarkable decline, he’s not the type of midfielder we need

I would say we need a creative no 10 type like Eriksen was 2 years ago but I don’t like he is right for us now

Nope.
Don't want him crawling back with his tail between his legs, having realised that the grass isn't always greener.
He made his bed, he can rot in it.
I'm not sure he's even good enough for us anymore, I mean he was but if you look at him over the past 2 years or so, would any of us want him if it wasn't for memories of happier times?

Eriksen has been poor for the past three years. His effort level and precision are just not there any longer. His first 4 years with Spurs rightly established him as one of the top offensive MF'ers in the PL. His stats still look very good. The problem is he really did not kick on. I think Dele is having the same issue.

Brooks would be an excellent idea - loan back, much like with Dele. Much like Clarke, there just won't be the minutes he needs to develop.

Beat Haifa and 6 games are added to the schedule. Beat Chelsea and that's another. We still have 30 senior players. Likely at least 2 more to come. Rose and CCV have no numbers, so they will go or will not play. There's going to be a lot of movement over the next few weeks.

Love the current core. No to Eriksen.

No. Give him a new contract so he can phone it in for 4 years at our expense? We'd have to be the biggest idiots of all time to even consider it.
