Possibly catastrophic for us if Rose leaves. One of our three best players last season, and our best over the last 3 seasons. Woumd make this window a clear net negative

He's by far our best LB and his value won't depreciate that much in one year. We'd still get a solid £20M for him next season I imagine.

My Fulham supporting mate is adamant Sess isn't a LB and I think he'll really need time to settle in and work on his defending. If he doesn't work all we have is Davies.

So short sighted if it's true.

He's one more injury away from being literally worthless. Ideally there's another LB joining we haven't heard about but I certainly get the logic. We've already got Wanyama stuck in the squad as someone clearly past-it but we can't cash in on any more, we can't handle many more. Rose has had a great few months but at his age he's only going in one direction and he'd been struggling for both form and fitness prior to that point.

I don't know how I would feel about him leaving. His bs in the media a few seasons back really bothered me and that together with his decline in quality kind of makes me okay with him moving on at this point. He is still a good player but not what he was a few years back.

This reeks of extracting value while there's still value left to extract. He wants to stay let him stay jesus. Unless he has a negative impact on the squad the club should show the same loyalty it expects from players.

Why in hell are we gutting our wingbacks, which was a weak position for us anyway. Makes no sense

Or maybe it actually makes sense? Poch said it'll be "painful" summer, looks like we're going to sell two of our "senior" fullbacks and replace them with young, unproven players (Kwp/Foyth and Sess). Not saying they're ready or that I agree with the clubs' decision, but young players won't ever get better if they don't play, and maybe, just maybe, Poch has enough trust to let them start.

If Rose goes we must be looking to changing formation as ITK previously suggested...not sure to what though. Sess at wing back...erm maybe sissoko down the right (albeit wasted there)?

Be typical that of the two deals we're involved with that are "unlikely"; the one that happens is selling Danny Rose to Watford rather Paulo Dybala joining

I hope he doesn't go. For one he's a big game player who always shows up when we need him. For two, I'm a lazy bastard and I can't face having to fire up potatoshop to make a new avatar.

Can't understand the Watford link though, unless they are offering him an unbelievable amount of money and we're not.

Besides, isn't kind of traditional the last few years that we start offering around improved contracts after the window shuts?
