So what? Where have i said he doesn't run enough? If KM's covered is the barometer, let's put Mo Farah in the team shall we, he'll outrun everyone.

He covers a lot of ground, most of it to no effect, throwing his arms around. Great stuff.

No need to get Farah in, he’d probably cost a fortune. We could just get one of the kids from your athletics club ?

Is this the same Alli that helped get Mourinho's tenure of to a decentish start, scoring three games in a row in José's first four matches as manager.

Ah, thought so.

The same one Jose didn't start at all once he had other fit options? The same one Jose said can't play as a midfielder..thought so. ;)

Combined stats for last 2 seasons: he is in 91st percentile for successful pressures compared to top5 league players with +10 starts as attacking midfielders or wingers.

Lol.

When you yourself wrote that Mourinho most probably saw it your way and questioned his athleticism.

I've merely highlighted the fact that he's obviously athletic to feature where he does in said links I posted.

Kinda goes hand in hand would you not think. o_O

A period in which he's lost his starting place for club and country? Are you saying he's had 2 great seasons?
Stats can show whatever you want them to.

At first, you said he lacks athleticism. Stats shows you are wrong.
Then you said he's running a lot but without any effect. Again, stats shows you wrong.

His problems come from not being tough enough mentally or physically. Also his inability to fit into tactical systems that don't allow him have a virtually free role as a number 10.

Fannying around on Instagram and fashion modelling don't help either of those as far as i'm aware.
Fannying around on SpursCommunity doesn't help you either but here we are...

I think we can all concede that at times, like many others, Alli could do more.

But his record for Spurs stacks up alright to me. Decent goals and assists return. Few injuries he's had to overcome also.

To basically call him dogshite isn't wide of the mark, it's not even in the same feckin ballpark.

But his performances show me right? His numbers of goals and assists going backwards since 2017 show me right?

Anyway it's not about me being right or wrong, it's about Dele not delivering on the pitch and the more people make excuses for that, the longer it goes on. He's lost his place for club and country that must tell you something?

Alright let's agree to disagree. Maybe i expect too much of him. Perhaps he is just a squad player who can chip in with the odd goal here and there. Let's just settle for that then.

By here and there I take it you mean a howl every three games? As that’s how he averages out across a 5 year sample size.

To be fair, our whole team has been going backwards since 2017, not just Dele.
Let's just give him a little time under the new manager and injury free before we think about selling.

He's starting pretty much every match for Tottenham when he's fit, about England when he was fit he was starter in WC and then he wasn't called up because lacking match fitness. Next season if he will lose starting squad it will come more to Ndombele and Lo Celso being fantastic player not Dele being bad.

I prepared very good graph about his numbers.

Exactly.

Something I've been mentioning for a while now. Whilst stats don't always tell the whole truth, goals and assists don't lie.

He had a decent average, but some seem to forget many players hit barren spells.

I've no doubt Alli knows his form has dipped, he's said as much supposedly. I for one think he'll be working hard to rectify this.
