I've not seen anyone better, but I was born in 1985. My dad (b.1955) would cite Greaves, Mackay, Hoddle, possibly Ossie.Someone more familiar with Spurs history than me... is he the best player thats ever played for Spurs?

Some of the much older generation may say Greaves, or Hoddle, possibly Gazza. But I was born in 91 and in my lifetime he is definitely so.Someone more familiar with Spurs history than me... is he the best player thats ever played for Spurs?
Can’t believe I’ll have so much free time tomorrow now that he has signed! Might need to spend it with the mrs instead of here ?
Whatever you do don’t ruin your day by watching the team actually play football - that way misery lies!
There's the obvious one's like Greaves, Mackay and Hoddle who will be mentioned, but i'd have to throw Modric into the hat as well. Everything Bale has won at Madrid, Modric has won too, along with a Ballon d'or as well.Someone more familiar with Spurs history than me... is he the best player thats ever played for Spurs?
In my opinion yes, i am 48 and have grown up with Hoddle, Waddle, Gascoigne, Lineker, klinsmann etc. Bale is in my opinion is the still the best out of these world class players in our historySomeone more familiar with Spurs history than me... is he the best player thats ever played for Spurs?

For those who don't know what happened, let me give you the rundown.
Bale turned up yesterday, we decided we wanted to milk the moment by yet again bringing the skywalk into matters. Unfortunately Bale got stuck. He's had to wait overnight and nobody had a big enough ladder. Eventually Crouch was called for but he was demanding interview exclusive with Bale for B.T and then we've had to wait 6 hours for Levy to negotiate that fee. Looks like the deals agreed and we're all systems go.
I mean, no. Talent wise maybe. But in terms of what makes best, he'd probably be top ten but Mackay, Greaves and Blanchflower from the 60s. Hoddle in the 80s for longevity as well as the ability, and some have a real softspot for GazzaSomeone more familiar with Spurs history than me... is he the best player thats ever played for Spurs?

What date's the October international break? And it said match fitness. Any chance he might make a couple of sub appearances in the weeks before then we think?
