Not buying this 100 percent salary thing no way we would have even went near it with a 600k salary
Cause it isn't done and dusted - though it does sound like it's v close to being done ??Jim White wants to make a story out of it for clicks. Where's the fun for them to say 'it's all done and dusted but won't be officially announced until Friday'?
Goalposts?
Always asked for 100%... I doubt that...
No he doesn’t have the same pace. He’s got enough to beat a man still but he won’t be tearing across half the pitch leaving defenders in his wake like he did in his first spell with us. His left foot is still magic as well. Is last couple outings with Wales he was quiet since he’s barely played this year but the quality is still there.I know he hasn't played much recently for RM but has anyone watched him when he has and/or for Wales and able to comment on his current performance levels? Does he still have the same pace, the same rocket shot that he did when was with us?
More serious reply to the above than my earlier one:- Its is actually astonishing, how bad the squad had gotten. How would you describe the long term strategy that left our squad riddled with average or past it players, out on it's knees and short in several positions?
I'm not sure about current levels, however, Giggsy hauled him off in the last Wales game I believe.I know he hasn't played much recently for RM but has anyone watched him when he has and/or for Wales and able to comment on his current performance levels? He’s on 600k before tax in Spain. Romano is most likely quoting what he takes home after tax.Well if you want some optimism that Romano is wrong; 600k a week does not equal 17 million euros a year

Do the math on that 17M. That’s E325k/wk. far from the 600k that gets thrown out there.
Nope. He played 45 minutes the first game which was planned and then 90 in the second game.I'm not sure about current levels, however, Giggsy hauled him off in the last Wales game I believe.
At last the man has spoken!

Who knows to be honest. I’m sure how his wage will be taxed since he’ll be being paid by two different companies in two different countries will be one of the complexities they have to navigate. Whether that affects his base wage I don’t know.Yeah but Madrid would still be forking out the 600k regardless of the tax Bale pays on it wouldn't they.
