Define "main man"
The star man at the club. The MVP, most talented, the poster boy. The man that all fans can agree that he is the best and most important player at the club. The player that the players will all look up to in a footballing sense. The player that oppenents will be most terrified of.

Bale is the bigger star but Kane is Mr Tottenham.

Everything you've said applies to both Kane and Bale for different reasons. It's easy to say Kane because he's "Mr Tottenham", but Bale is a global superstar and still a world class football player. That can't, and shouldn't be understated.

Yeah I agree, pretty hard to decide. I personally think both are, can't really split them.

Of course if Bale had stayed with us his entire career like Kane it may be different. Then again he probably wouldn't be as big a star, who knows.

Am delighted he’s back, he is exactly what we are missing. I also think Levy was correct to only go for the one year loan as his injury record makes it too risky to invest more. The last thing we need is a Jack Whilshire situation at West Ham, but if he stays fit them am sure we are in a strong position next year when he will have a year less on contract to make it permanent.

Does it matter which one is the main man? I honestly think it's both. Two huge names. Can only help the club.
