Thought his cameo was decent, but the yer da in me have a really hard time with players that seem to be more preoccupied with fancy run ups than actually kicking the ball.

I have been impressed with him, I do believe he will be better centrally, but obviously playing on left to get him minutes and get adjusted to the english game.

I like him, not sure what player he'll turn out to be but seems to have the right tools and ingredients, has that something about him.

He was pretty good, wasn't he? Purpose to everything he did (apart from his shooting) and he was incisive. Obviously the reaction was coloured by his penalty (and looking at him in the preamble I'd have bet any money on him missing it), but I couldn't understand the Twitter criticism of his performance.

It does seem like his finishing will be the thing we bash him for. Other than that, adventurous player with a bit of tenacity.

I love what I saw from Gedson he is very skillful penalty aside.
From that showing he has a very high ceiling but will need time to fully develop.

In all honesty we have some technically good players but clearly the balance is all wrong in the squad and tactics are questionable in truth.

He's actually been far better than I expected him to be in his first handful of appearances. I don't expect him to make an impact until next season at the earliest, but he's an incredibly good option to have off the bench/for rotation.

I genuinely don't have a fucking clue where his best position is though.

By the way, although it was a poor effort fair play to him for even putting himself forward to take a penalty, especially the fifth one. Where were Aurier, Vertonghen and Ndombele for example? All three more than capable of striking a clean ball.

I really liked him cutting in off the left, was like Lamela from the other side. If we had our 16/17 fullbacks then I’d quite like to see them both with GLC between them.

Yep was thinking the same about positional play. I guess he is multifunctional he is a ball carrier, dribbling seems to be natural so could play in a 3 either midfield or in a flank 3.
I understand Gedson played DM well at Benfica before the next manager changed his position and limited his games.

Looked very good yesterday. Possibly the only good thing about yesterday (excluding GLC who's our MOTM every match)

Liked the look of him on the left and like him in general. Didn't really think at first he could play out there, but did more than Bergwijn and Sess has for us to be fair.

Skillful and wanting to take players one, just needed to be a bit more composed.

The thing with him though is, what is his best position exactly? Must be an 8, and we have a few of those.
