Happy that he is off the books.

Thanks to the transfer committee that started this waste of money.

Good luck to him.
He was a good prospect that had the potential to learn and do well - but in the end didn't quite have enough (talent, commitment, understanding or a combination of these things) to succeed at Spurs.

In the same way that Dele All was a player with potential the "transfer committee" and scouts identified, even they'd have been surprised at his meteoric rise before the age of 20.

Whilst I'm sure there are lots of metrics used to assess a player's potential and scouts' experience in watching them, there are also a number of factors beyond this which determine the ultimate success of a young player's transfer. Things like adaptability to a new country and surroundings, the ability to learn and change the way you play and the actual physical development a player will/won't go through over the next few years.

Some scouting teams do better than others; I'd say our's is pretty good.

Good luck GKN!

Llorente, Trippier, Dembele, Janssen, GKN, and potentially Wanyama is 365k/week in wages freed up.

According to reports our incomings’ wages are NDombele (200k), Lo Celso (150k), Sessegnon (50k), and Clarke (25k). If Aurier (70k) were to go, we would be net zero in terms of wages. Good business!

What a stupid comment. GKN was not a bad player and neither was Janssen. They just did not suit our style. I’m the right team they will produce to a certain level which will suit their value. In this market I think they were sold below UK market value.

I dont think it is that stupid, these types of players come with huge wages for the teams looking to buy. So just getting them off the wage bill can be a tall ask, getting some money on top of that is bloody good going and more than I thought we would achieve.

Ndombele £200k per week? Surely not. Do you have a source for that as that would be very surprising as good as he is

I do. Their salaries were not that huge for the UK and their transfer fees were relatively low. My response was to a statement that Spurs got a fee at all.

I know what you were quoting, and the wages are high for anyone outside of the top half of the prem. Not to mention that both have been sold abroad because no English clubs purchased them. Not like United et al were lurking so I don't really see your argument.

Real shame as I was really excited when we got him and personally I don’t think he was ever given a fair shot by Poch.

But is good that he releases further strain off our wage bill.
