I'm thrilled that we've made him permanent. I think he's got everything needed - passing, vision, dribbling, control - and he also works hard and gets his foot in. Reminds me of Bernado Silva. Early days but I think he's going to be an absolute star.

Delighted that we have made this a permanent deal and this is the start of our future with the likes of him, Ndombele, Gedson and Stevie!

Same as everyone I’m very happy he’s with us and very happy it’s a five-year deal. If this guy has the application to go with his talent.- and I think he does - he’s going to be one of the best midfielders in Europe.

Top top player very glad we made it permanent, I know he was already with us but again doing this settles him down and the squad know he’s with us for the long haul all these small things help with squad morale and harmony.

He’s a very spurs style of player, excited to see how he develops :)

I agree, but Mourinho seems pretty set on the 4231 formation. IMO, insisting on playing Dele at 10 is very hit and miss and more often than not the bad outweighs the good.
I disagree about the formation. Mourinho has actually impressed me so far in his willingness to tinker with the formation to get the best out of the players. Particularly when he clearly doesn't fancy some of them and inherited a squad very low on confidence. Hes also had injuries to contend with. He has created a formation to get the best out of Aurier because he realises that he is out best right back. He has moved Jan around. Dropped Eriksen. Dropped Dier. Played attacking players rather than go solid when we had injuries in midfield.

Until he gets some players in we wont know what formation he wants to play.

One encouraging thing is that he is bringing in ball players rather than big athletic lumps. Gedson, lo celso and ndombele could easily play as a very athletic, creative but technically adept 3 in a 4-3-3.

Bergwijn looks like we may be looking at a front 3 also so it could be a 4-3-3 with aurier attacking on the right and the slightly more conservative Davies on the left, who can play as a CB essentially making a 3-4-3 when we have the ball.
