I really like him. Very good at most elements and recognises his own weaknesses. I think he's going to be fine. He can get better and better at dealing with crosses in the box.

Has anyone seen that foul on Raya by Solanke for the Bournemouth disallowed goal? If ever there was evidence that refs are treating Vicario differently, this is it. It’s infuriating because our poor record on set pieces is largely down to similar fouls against Vicario that are not given. The refs have decided that Vicario is weak but other GKs are not.

The double standard is incredible.

Great keeper but can lose his head sometimes. Needs to be more calm in high pressure situations, especially around set pieces

Solanke barely touched him, as well. Just fucking shocking...

I can see why they gave it as a foul. Solanke does move into Raya’s space without trying to win the ball. But it is soft, and certainly softer than any challenges on Vicario. Ultimately, VAR defers a lot to the on field ref’s judgment in these situations, and the on field refs are clearly not applying their judgment consistently.

It’s really bizarre to see the decisions that go against Vicario vs. what happened today and how it benefited Raya/Arsenal. I think a lot of it is the human element and not wanting to disrupt a title race because of a call and opening yourself up to that. It’s wrong and shouldn’t be that way, but it feels like that’s the only feasible explanation. Also, no one cares about upsetting Tottenham fans, meanwhile, if you upset Arsenal you open yourself up to incurring the wraith of Social Media FC.

Graham Souness in the Mail today saying
"Ben White isn't clever at corners. He's just cheating".
Also says 2 of Arses goals shouldn't have stood.
I know it's the Mail but Souness doesn't normally come out on our side.
Worth a read if you can.
