was that the one when Hart was chatting shit as H was getting ready to take the kick?

Yea

I know you like to go to the keeper’s right and down the middle,’” Kane said

“Then he said ‘I think you’re going to go down the middle’ and I said ‘Ok’ and then put it down the middle,” he added with a smile, knowing that Hart had predicted the outcome of the penalty yet managed to dive the wrong way.

It’s literally only desperate Arsenal fans on Twitter hoping he’ll miss next week’s match claiming that’s a dive.

It’s clearly not a dive. He’s not going to get a ban.

Think he has missed 5 pens for us. 2 down the middle and 2 to his left and one over the bar

Genuine question. Is a ratio of 18 pens converted to 5 pens missed good?
It’s not bad, it’s not Le Tissier or even Robbie Keane but it’s enough to justify him being our main penalty taker. We have a few options who I’d trust (Eriksen, Dier, Alderweireld even) to be a regular taker as opposed to a name in a shoot out, but Kane converts enough to be first choice.

It's pretty much average for top-flight football at just under 80% - interestingly the rate varies quite a lot between seasons but tends to be between 75% and 85%. When you consider that I believe those misses occurred more earlier in Kane's career it's perfectly fine at least and certainly not worth changing your kick taker over.

I think your main penalty taker should be converting 8 out of 10 which means he needs to score 6 from his next 7

We’re ignoring the fact that Kane missed 3 very early early on in his Spurs career. His recent record from the spot is very good.

Last 4 seasons only pen he missed in the league prior to yesterday was when he skied it over against soton

Read this and try not to tear up about how lucky we are to have Kane grace our Club.

...And thank you, of course, to the Tottenham fans. I dreamed of playing for Spurs since I was a boy. For a long time my motivation was simply to close my eyes and picture myself scoring against Arsenal in the Premier League. Done that a few times now, and it never gets old. But now, my motivation is a bit different. Now, I close my eyes and I picture myself lifting the Premier League trophy at our new stadium with my mates. I’d trade the next 100 goals for that feeling...

If that brilliant snippet of Kane doesn’t tell you he wants to be at Spurs for life, then nothing will. Obviously we have to match his ambition and with the signing of Moura, we are slowly showing we can buy top class players that will improve the team. I hope we never sell this superb striker. He’s one of our own!!!!

Media will now say he’s dreaming of scoring his next 100 goals for Real.
