Love those comments!

And to think some people thought Pochettino wouldn't be able to keep the big players from leaving before we appointed him

think i read that we have the 5th worst defence in the league WITH Hugo. So the mind boggles as to where we'd be without him!

Seriously, by not improving the defence we are wasting his talent and wasting his time,
Nah.....we're showing what a great keeper he is actually...keeps getting MOM doing the defending all on his own...

"Arsene can say what he wants, but this is the club I will stay with. I love the spirit, the philosophy and the people,” said Lloris.

“That’s very important to me. Spurs play the football I love – exciting and entertaining.”

"We're sorry, we're unable to locate the page you requested. It may have been moved, updated or deleted."

Hmm... seems like it was a factually integral piece which wasnt removed by an editor or anything. Very dodgy indeed and after doing some research it looks like it was based on a twitter post by 'Talking THFC' claiming to quote Hugo, not a tweet from Hugo himself. Bullshit. Thats what I smell.

Even if it was true, didnt we hear similar quotes from Bale? Seriously guys, it is quite sad how some of you have bought into this as if it means Hugo bleeds lilly white fucking blood and will retire with us.

Well if he thinks we are playing exciting and entertaining football then the man is easily pleased! Maybe there IS hope he will stay!

Were there any post match updates as to the severity of Hugo's injury?

Heard someone say he had a gash to a tendon in his knee and could potentially rule him out for the remainder of the season.

And hopefully this won't start the "that was his final appearance in a Spurs shirt"

Hate to say it but even if we had the remotest of chances of getting a top 4 spot, if Lloris is out for a run of games then we've had it, with any slim chance of a top 4 spot. As good as HK is he won't be able to score as many as we will concede, and there's no doubt that Vorm will let in more than Loris would have done. FFS if we can let in 3 against Leicester at home and it could have been higher, it won't be long before our goal difference goes into the red even after a couple of games !!!

If anything a 3/4 month injury might rule out a transfer this year? Not that we wish to see him injured, but may certainly deter a move.

There's no way Lloris let's in Leicesters 3rd. I'm confident that their first would have been pushed around the post too.

I'm actually worried that Vorm is a bad keeper. Doesn't make anything other than the most basic saves.

On the other hand Vorm might have saved
one or two recently that Lloris conceded.
(Fellaini goal, one agains Fiorentina)
He doesn't always get his angles right.
We always excuse Lloris lets extend the courtesy to Vorm.
Hugo is a better keeper certainly but the difference between 4th and 5th unlikely.
Dont think he would have saved any yesterday.
Neg rep away.

His wife tweeted that he [Hugo] needs some rest but will be back really soon. Hopefully he'll be back for Burnley then.

Guys don't be disappointed if he takes off in the summer. If he does it's life reality. Words are just words.

He's got an agent to keep in fine wine and cigars.

Dont see him leaving tbh, he's already said the french league is not challenging enough for him, plus he's just signed a new contract. Optimistic maybe, I just dont see it this summer.
