Got to remember he’d hardly played any senior games in Argentina before coming here, and he’s hardly played any senior games here.

He’s raw as hell. Raw talent, but also a lot to learn about positioning and decision-making.

Needs to stop having panic attacks whenever he lets a player go past him, have some faith in your teammates Juan.

He does, but more importantly he needs to learn to stop letting players get goal side of him. Something he really needs to work on, but he’s only young.

You definitely do start to wonder if DM may be better for him than CB at this stage until he really understands the position a bit like Rice has done. The talent is clear and obvious would be a tragedy if his confidence gets wrecked.

Very talented young man, but is he really ahead of Carter Vickers as a defender?

I know who I’d want up against the likes of Ashley Barnes and Rondon.

IMO a bit of time at DM would do him good since he wouldn't feel like the last line of defence. He certainly has the skill set to play there.

He’s got it all there. It’s really as simple as finding a way to cut out the stupid mistakes. If he can’t, then he won’t make it, if he can he’ll be world class. I’m happy to be patient.

I see it as different curve trajectories, the type of cb that ccv is, imo its easier to get to a good standard on the attributes he has early on but there's a ceiling. I think the raw abilities Foyth has takes longer to cultivate a good defender but once he does, his ceiling is up there with the best.

Nah he just needs to learn playing CB, you keep playing him there until he starts to understand the role properly, that's how players improve.

Tbh I just watched highlights and I didn’t really see him make any glaring mistakes. The other 2 goals are nothing to do with him and the penalty is incredibly harsh. With VAR probably not given bit like the mane one last week. Just puts his arm across the guy who goes down like he was shot.
