Ok carry on being ridiculous.
What's ridiculous is some posters' need to praise a player that is the worst signing of several seasons in a row. We made a crap panick buy, a high profile player who has started two pl matches in all of 2017, we will be a better team one's his sold, and any compliments in his direction are imaginary shit from the bull.

The last time I felt so strongly that a player just had to sold as soon as possible was 3 or 4 years ago. The player was lazy and brutal and did not know what he was doing. He was consistently a defensive liability who we all here wanted out.
Then he suddenly changed and from the same position gave man of the match performances game after game and still does when fit. He is a fan favourite now but perhaps like Sissoko, he just did not want to be here before.

So I guess I'm saying people are complicated and you never know what might happen if Sissoko did stay another season. It might just click for him.

Look, nodoby cares how good you are at being positive or supportive or inventing silver linings where there are only nuances of shit. This isn't a personal competition in being the best in reckless positivity. Sissoko is a bad fit for this coach and manager, he will never work, and w should be sold.

Sissoko said: “It’s true that I was expecting a lot more minutes this season. Then again, I did arrive in a team that was working really well last year, and again this year with the same XI. I tried to make the most of the time I was given. Of course, I’m disappointed, but the manager has choices to make and I have to respect them.

“For me, what’s most important is the team. We had a good year, we finished second. There’s the game against Hull next, the France squad, and then I’ll have time to think, to ask myself the right questions and we’ll see then. We’ll have to see what’s best for me and try to make a choice. Next year is a World Cup year.”

Deschamps just seems to keep selecting him for the France squad regardless. Let's hope that changes and forces the player to want to move.

Fair, but then logical would be to abstain from commenting. Calling yesterday's performance good is dishonest. He was a coward, backing away when he should tackle, he had no positional awarness covering areas that were so far from the action that the corner flag assumed a more helpful approach, and he had no ball control , losing the ball when the nearest opponent was 25 yards away. And needless to say, Fazio is a quicker player.
He wasn't a coward, he just quite obviously didn't want to dive in, given that he's not a right back and was clueless about positioning.

Also, how on earth can you think Fazio is quicker than Sissoko? That's straight up rubbish.

Who is praising him exactly?

No point arguing about him. I have seen him play well for France. Never seen him play well for Spurs. He needs to be playing every week to maintain his national position. He will be off this transfer window.
Didn't work out. We will move on.

tbf if you censored the face of the 3cms that represented france and ask me who was the most expensive player amongst all, i would say its sissoko. i wouldnt say hes useless, very good at bullying smaller teams and good at breaking away ONLY when given space. i believe he brings us sonething different to our squad but definitely not 30m quality.

if we could recoup, we should, if not hes still going to be useful sometimes. we should sell him by structuring a same deal we got from newcastle. take a 2 ~ 3m loss and move on

I think Sissoko has got qualities and is a tremendous athlete, I actually think due to low confidence he was playing everything very simple against leicester and while he did not look like a Spurs type player he did contribute well.
I guess should he go depends on if Poch thinks he can improve and integrating him over the pre-season...

I didn't think he was all bad vs Leicester.
There was one passage of play where he won the ball in the RB position, fended off 3 Leicester Players, dribbled the ball forward, then made a defence splitting pass into central midfield to Kane, in space, he carried the ball further forward and scored.
It wasn't a glorious cross or a 45 yard Tobyesqe diagonal, but it took a bit of guile to do what he did and there was an end product to it.
