Wonder how negotiations with PSG are going with him as we're now loaning Lo Celso and having them lose out on some cash on that deal...

The thought in the other thread is that it’s all connected and we are working with them to lower Aurier transfer fees in order to help them with FFP. Just a theory as the idea was that we have an amicable relationship with them. That and Herc alluded to there being a lot of moving parts that he would discuss after the window.

Ah that would make sense... and then we get Atal!

Him going today would leave us with no senior right back.

We will have players who can play there, someone learning the position and an inexperienced 22 year old.

We need to get another senior right back in if he goes. 100%

How odd trying to ship him out.

Maybe Poch really does just prefer KWP and Foyth for this season as with all the deals we seem to be juggling surely we won’t be blessed with a new right back too?

Mail mentioning today that he want's to leave before the European window shuts. PSG and Milan supposedly interested. Not a massive fan of his but he is the only experienced RB we have and I think we should keep hold of him until January when we can bring in a replacement. Although I suspect Poch is priming Foyth for the RB berth and wouldn't be surprised to see Aurier leave right at the end of the euro windows just before Foyth returns from injury.

I think it's clear that the punt on Aurier hasn't worked. It may be slightly beneficial to hold on until January but whose to say anyone wants him then? If the money is there for him now then I think you have to take it.

Absolutely not. It seems like Rose is staying, and if Eriksen stays we can sustain a title challenge. It would be utter stupidity to sell Aurier leaving ourselves with one established right back. If KWP picked up an injury which he'd be more likely to do playing every game, then there are big question marks over Foyth both over his ability to play RB and his fitness.

He's got to stay until we can replace him. Hopefully January.

We have KWP and Foyth. Even Dier and Sissoko. I haven't seen much from Aurier to suggest he will be starting often. If it means we can secure a top RB in time for January I'm all for it.

Would still let him go. He is injury prone and too rash for the premier league. Can’t afford him going to ground every time someone is running away from him.

I don't like the idea of Dier or Foyth at right back at all unless we plan on using natural wingers on that side. I can only see Lucas and Sissoko capable of playing that sort of RW role. Dier and Foyth would have been a real hindrance for us yesterday playing there.

I've said previously Sissoko could possibly work there but he's only played twice there max. Since Foyth is injured we might as well keep hold of him now as we can't replace him in the transfer market. I say sell in Jan if we can get Atal in.

We need a Rb with pace to scare the league 1 Rb's in the Fa Cup

He played well last season for the most part. No silly tackling, his delivery was good and was especially underrated in Europe. Away in Dortmund he was superb then a lovely assist in the return leg at Wembley.

He has good European experience, there are a lot of games to play. We will need him.
