I'll give him a quick call and let you know.
By the way your words are making SC obsolete
From a "this is a place for airing opinions" perspective? I'm all for that, but constant carping across the site about something that looks as though it's just not on the agenda is tiresome. There have been no credible links to a DM and lots to other types of midfielders and forwards. The logical conclusion is that it's been decided that a DM isn't a priority and a more interesting thing for us all to be talking about would be exactly what it is José plans to do in the middle.

I’m sure when the papers get wind of a transfer happening, its as good good as done -
They are normally a few days behind - I’m sure one of the ITK have mentioned this before .

First post guys, lurker, but seeing as these bergwijn links have popped up, I should give my opinion. I’ve been living in Eindhoven for the past 6 months studying abroad. I’ve seen psv live twice, but also on tv, streams etc. There is a ton of young talent in the Netherlands and psv included. Malen, dumfries, ihattaren (who I believe to be the one with the most potential/talent), and bergwijn. What I’ll say is he has loads of pace, but he uses it effectively in making runs in behind, freeing up space for fullbacks. His creative ability is also top notch imo. Wonderful vision and weight of pass makes him one of the best attackers in the eredivisie. Loves to take a man on 1v1 as well. Slightly inconsistent in front of goal, however he has definitely improved his finishing in the past year or so. Only downside is the quality of the league (although not a bad league whatsoever, as seen by Ajax last year) and style of play. Psv has a very fluid attacking style where unselfish runs and constant off-the-ball movement are the hallmarks. As we all know, our attack is rather toothless and static at the moment, especially with H injured. Overall, a great signing should it get over the line, especially if it’s in and around the 30-35m range. Indirect eriksen replacement, obviously not as good as eriksen passing wise, but creativity on the wing is something we need imo. Top player with top potential, so fingers crossed.

This is the most crucial part I think. With playmaking ability of Alderweireld and only Dele making runs in behind, we're missing one more player who can burst into long balls Toby's launching.

He looks a really high quality player this chap. Knows when to pass and release the ball on the counter. I like that

One other thing, he is most certainly NOT a striker. He’s been used there recently as an emergency, and this has coincided with psv’s dip in form. And even if he was, not the physical presence I think we need up top (although very well built, like adama-lite). He is quite versatile, plays across the attacking midfield line. With his ability, wide right is his best position I think, and I believe an attacking boost is badly needed, even if he isn’t a no 9.

What logical conclusion?
Mourinho decided Dier was the man but he obviously hasn't been and Winks is no classic DM.
He probably would like NDombele for the role but as we can see NDombele is oozing creativity that I think we need and are lacking and cant see NDombele doing both so for me he needs a DM behind him.
Look it's my opinion only. But that's ok with me is it ok with you though?

Always sceptical about signing players from the Dutch league. Bar psv and Ajax the rest of the teams are toilet.

hoping we are still going to add a target man because this position isn’t a top priority to fill
