After Son's goal against City, celebration goes on. In the latest clip club has put out in youtube (MATCHDAY PASS | TUNNEL CAM), most of the players celebrate with Ndombele. And Winks seems to gesture to Tanguy that he belongs here...almost as if Tanguy had been going through some confidence issues. And then, Sonny comes back from his celebration and repeats the same to Tanguy.

Its great to see that players help the fellow mates. While it seems the obvious thing to do, any comradery is welcome and it bodes well for the Mourinho era.

I have been one of the people that worried that he is not up to the rigours of the premier league . If he can adapt and play a full 90 minutes the other clubs better watch out because this man is a magician .
The move where he left Rodri for dead was amazing it was not even shown on match of the day I know this because having attended the game I was hoping to hear the comments about how amazing it was but as I say it was not shown .
If the move was by say De Bruyne or Hazzard or Messi they would have been all over it and I was a bit miffed it was not shown but on reflection its good because this type of play helps win games and other teams may be unaware of what awaits them .

That is a really good observation and I think you are correct in your analysis.

Literally praying for Tongee to get fully fit and shake off his injury. If he fully adjusts to the intensity of our league then him and Lo Celso will literally tear the Prem apart next season.

NDombeles through ball for the second goal was brilliant. But he did it with ease. He could do this time and time again as he is a natural. He made an adjustment and found the space to hit it into space. Its top notch. Bergwijns goal was no less. Both excellent goals. What a team we have now!

We've gone from needing a complete revamp to only needing 2-3 players. I bet Jose is licking his lips at the prospect of it all which is a far cry from when he took over.

I love Winks’ reactions, he looks more like a fan than a player sometimes. His big fist pump for getting Zinchenko sent off was particularly amusing. The other guy who is always at the centre of celebrations is Aurier, for all the media hate he seems popular with the players

I'm sure he's definitely frustrated at how this season has gone. He's only started 11/35 games due to his injuries/fitness where he was the star at Lyon. Its been an adjustment for him but the quality is there. He's averaging a goal or assist about every 180 minutes he plays. He's actually more of the Eriksen replacement in that department than Lo Celso is.

The ease with which he can pass is incredible. Its not just his vision, but also his weight of passing is what makes the goal. The weight of his passing on his through balls is near perfect most times.

You know I wasnt a fan of Eriksen. He was technically excellent and prodding to create space and in that way was creative sometimes hitting a telling ball.
I think NDombele can hit telling balls all day.
It's natural creativity. In a flash he knows exactly where he wants to go. He controls space with his vision.
I know I'll get some negatives from this but I also know I am right on with it.
Ndombele is going to be a huge influence on all our players.Magicians are at a premium and he is one.
I agree regarding the weight of his passes and his vision. These are one of a kind players and we should work around him

Totally different types of players with there own strengths and weaknesses. I think Eriksen had the most chances created in the league during his stay in the Prem. That is an amazing stat.

I dont go by stats alone but I get what you are saying
Too much prodding for me.David Silva may not even have the stats but always like his vision

The difference between Eriksen and Ndombele’s
potential is that Eriksen was stoppable by teams with athletic and disciplined defensive midfielders. If they were switched on for 90 mins they could deny him the space to operate and because he didn’t have any pace or trickery he couldn’t create it himself. Ndombele, if he gets his shit together, is impossible to stop because he can create space almost anywhere. It’s a tantalising prospect.

Spot on. We can always talk about stats but imo ndombele has much better vision than eriksen.

That early through ball didnt just show vision, but also awareness to understand that if he took one more touch the gap would have closed.

He is our best killer ball passer. By far

Let’s hold your horses there... Eriksen has unreal vision and was one of the best playmakers in the world in his time here.
