I’m getting fed up with this site. The quality of poster ratings is really starting to piss me off. If people cannot rate constructively or actually rate the original poster with the star rating etc then I’m not sure I really want to be here and I worry about our fan bases negativity

Get behind the ratings properly

I don't disagree. Infact I think a rating of a post should be accompanied with a response to that post and not just a rating. If its just a rating especially with a WTF or Spam it shows disrespect to the original post and should at least be responded to instead of getting hit by a sniper
That way others can decide whether its reasonable or not

Agreed. It is very weird. Honestly, it is one of the weirdest situations I've seen a player in. Ledley was weird - how he couldn't train but was the best player every Saturday, and the first game back after 18 months out he was immense. But this just boggles my mind.

What on earth is going on???

I can't help thinking its something really odd for a professional like he's developed some kind of chronic fatigue syndrome. But you've got to say, ultimately it is unacceptable. The season is 6 months in and something has to change quickly.

I get the feeling he is not easy for him to change. Could be a mental block. The man is so creative, intelligent and talented. Its going to be a frustrating time getting it to change I feel. I think the choice is simple for now and I don't think Mourinho will be more patient than he is with NDombele but I would actually work the team around him. Push him more forward if we have to. Use his brilliance cover with two soldiers and see where this takes us. It cant be worse than we have been.

I think people would be surprised conditioning wise, how much of a difference having trained and gained fitness levels in a proper academy impacts on future fitness. They are at a level unparalleled in comparison to non league, which is basically what he was training at previously. Seamus Coleman had the same issues in his early twenties and he was riddled with injuries. The training in place increases your bone density and lean muscle mass at a young age; never mind just your cardiovascular endurance. You see the difference often in Carling or Fa cup games between non league/ very low league in comparison to the top two divisions. I've also seen it personally when we have had people play for our team who have had academy training in comparison to the gym heads who play football; the academy lads with the little beer bellies last so much longer than the guys who eat clean and train well!

Have to say “if he didn’t have the trophies he would be lucky to be a Premier League manager” is probably the most hilarious post on this site in at least a few years ?.

Nope sorry, someone posting Grealish is as good as Gazza from earlier this week still beats it. A classic in every way.

I can’t help but think something is going on with his injuries that aren’t being made public for some reason. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s carrying an injury based on the following comment or needs an operation or something:

Mourinho on Tanguy Ndombele
“I can only speak about three months and three months of small injuries, setbacks, difficult to reach a good physical level. Playing one match and then getting injured again. So difficult, difficult time.

“(On the benefits of his new training programme) At least he’s not been injured in the last few weeks, he played a good 30 minutes in the last game and it was a game of high intensity. And hopefully he’ll only improve. I hope that the first time he plays a match in the starting line-up, he can play and be on the pitch for 60-90 minutes and not have any setback.”

Could be a bit sarcastic tbh

To me Jose sounded a bit sarcastic when he originally spoke about NDombele and his injuries fitness etc.

I think you're looking into it too much because he hasn't been playing a player you have a vested interest in. Jose more than anybody will want him to be fit and starting because as soon as he's added our players will get more chances and given our lack of lethal finishers available atm, the more chances we can create the better.

Yes I have a vested interest. I am also concerned with what Mourinho expects of his players. Most managers want their players to be a certain way especially to come ready to play and some want their players to be courageous, maybe fighting through some injuries etc. I have no idea what Mourinho expects but he sounded a little sarcastic when talking about it.
Part of that is the situation that has been a bit of a question and that is are all of the injuries physical, are some mental. It's been a bit discussed here already I think.

I'd say you're looking at perceptions rather than facts and from where I'm sitting the only fact I can see in the Jose/Ndombele saga is that Jose has decided to put time and effort into a global fitness programme to get Ndombele fit which spans over multiple departments at spurs. So based on that fact I find it hard to believe that Jose would be sarcastic about the situation when he's gone through the action of trying to get Ndombele up to speed.

I added a more to it and it was about the psychological aspect and maybe being mentally fit as well as being physically fit.
It's fine lines. I read that into it originally and I think others have too.

His injuries have all been groin and hip, the two are linked and lead me to believe he's either got a joint issue or a sports hernia. Both of which would definitely affect him and keep him from playing regularly.
