Whatever the outcome, I can't imagine Levy is thrilled. Record signing struggling to adapt for whatever reason and the public outing of him by Mourinho, rightly or wrongly. The club is a shitshow.

Not really "whatever the outcome" though is it? If the outcome is that he tries hard and gets better then Levy wont give a flying fuck.

A player cam on Ndombele is not a flattering sight - Carragher on sky sports... man that did not look good... was pretty pathetic from Ndombele just standing there... but when he gets the ball - he is great.

We should just give him a separate ball

Watching the MNF analysis of him currently, some of the footage of him is shocking and you can understand Mourinho's frustration.

Compare that to the kid at Chelsea in midfield and you'd think the Chelsea lad was the £60m player and Ndombele was the youngster trying to come through.

They should make him watch the MNF analysis Clockwork Orange style on repeat. So much talent and completely takes it for granted, so frustrating

Levy, couldn't control Harry or Poch's comments, no chance with Jose. That is the way he manages, he is open and tells it as it is. Levy would or should have known that.

I think we will be forced to play him a bit more for the rest of the season. Fingers crossed he starts to show some of the talent we can all see.

Carragher is spot on. Regardless of Jose's comments, Ndombele's effort is disgraceful. I don't care if he cost 100m or a quid, the least I expect is effort for the shirt.

If that is who we're "losing", good. He should be more worried about what I and the rest of the Spurs fans think, not what Jose said publicly. That is embarrassing. I knew he was bad, but that analysis depicts a disgrace.

He can either change or leave.

In what other job in the world could a lack of effort for massive money be accepted? Imagine if in my line of work I was capable of the sublime and worked for 2 mins a day and fucked around for the other 7 hours and 58 mins. And earned lots. Would there be a question of me deserving the sack?

Or would there be herds of people outside saying it's ashame for me and give me time?

It's not a matter of getting used to the pace, it's a matter of him not coming close to trying enough. The one thing I don't accept for my club is that.

Video of the analysis for those who haven't seen

Says Carragher who hasn't had the guts to coach.

Eriksen who was always a nicey nice coach, letting players rule the roost and wouldn't last 5 mins at any job in today's coaching world.

There's only so long a coach can defend a player and if he's tried the approach from the start and it's still not sinking in then he needs to try a new approach.

can't imagine he's gonna want to play under Jose now, even if he's embarrassed into improving I just can't imagine him liking/respecting him to put in the effort needed.
probably already onto his agent about a new club.
but then levy will of course look to get back what was paid which seems unlikely

No one will buy him on the last 8 months. Might want to worry more about his own house as a footballer first.

Maybe Jose shouldn’t have done it publicly, I personally don’t have a problem with it. He’s obv had words with him behind closed doors, the reaction of I think Winks in one game towards Ndombele’s positive effect in a game shows that stuff has been said.. Fact is, the happiest I’ve seen the guy all season is when he’s sat on the bench. That’s not good enough. Maybe play him with Dier and LoCelso behind him, but still a midfield three is the current answer, which also eases our need for striking options.
Dier LoCelso
Ndombele
Lamela Dele Lucas

That first example is exactly what I was posting about earlier, standing behind the press, not showing for the ball, not giving an out to the defence. Polar opposite to Lo Celso.

That analysis really is as damning as the viral video against Wolves.

Not one sprint in 45 minutes? I’m 52 and I sure as hell could manage 1 in a half.

I’d need oxygen after it though.

Depends on the type of guy he is, hopefully he is the kind that cares about his reputation as a player. Wants to win big titles for club and country

Or he could be all about the money, and lifestyle. LOL as ekotto would say.
