Yeah, I understand he was shocking off the ball. But I would rather have it that way round than being shocking on the ball. Hopefully he sorts his shit out because he's so so talented, would be a real shame.

I dunno if I would you know. Maybe not shocking on the ball but I’d rather have 11 players all busting a gut every game leaving everything out on the pitch who were very limited players than 11 amazingly talented players who couldn’t be fucked and just coasted through matches.

Agree, and although clearly very talented I think his on the ball play has been a bit exaggerated by the fact that we just aren’t very good any more.

It’s not like every time he plays he dribbles past half the team and smashes one into the top corner.

It’s not enough to overlook the pure laziness he’s showing. Not in the modern PL anyway.

Agree. He needs to have a word with himself, then take a long hard look in the mirror then sit down and ask himself some serious questions. Then the fucking idiot needs to realise he is an extremely lucky motherfucker and play with a smile on his face. If he doesn’t I’m gunna shout at him.

Hes not toxic because he is never positive about players. He is toxic because he creates enemies wherever he goes.

This isn’t an inevitable byproduct of success. Klopp, Guardiola and Zidane have all achieved significant success more recently than Mourinho without creating discord and upset. Maybe I’m sensitive to his recent words but his last three clubs all show a clear pattern ...

What do you make of these then LeParisien?

I say well done for singling the fucker out. It's all about being accountable, and our outlay on him justifies a greater level of contribution.

Pretty tame examples tbh. Especially the klopp one, he doesn't throw anyone under the bus. In fact he's rather nice considering how bad lovern was that game

Klopp says that if it was him on the pitch, that goal wouldn't have happened but he was on the touchline in his trainers. Pretty harsh on Lovren to me.

I honestly don't like how Mourinho gets digs for how he manages. Something clearly works with his 25 trophies in 20 years. I love how we all become experts on man management but I guarantee none of us have ever managed a quarter of the people Mourinho has. Ndombele got called out publicly and for me rightly so. Spotlights on him now the players, fans and football world will be watching. Time he earns that £200k per week instead of acting like a passenger.

No loverns was the second goal were he missed the ball and Kane scored. The first was all of them not clearing Their lines which is what he's saying, even he could clear the ball .
Didn't dig into anyone

For a footballer, let alone a premiership midfielder, to not register one sprint in 45 minutes of football is absolutely shocking.
The lad should be ashamed of himself and his team mates need to start calling him out on it. I would be royally pissed off, if I was working my bollocks off, only to look up and see him strolling around, hiding behind players and not really paying attention to what's going on.
Embarrassing and I'm having serious doubts about him now, which is so frustrating as he's such a talent.

What really cracks me up is it seems like him and sissoko are complete opposites. One has all the talent in the world but lacks the work rate, the other has very little talent but will run his ass off for his teammates. If only we could dragon ball z fusion them together lol

He gets 1 more season. Actually 1 more pre season and up til Xmas. If he’s pulling the same shit then it would be see you later in January for me

I agree and wouldn’t even give him till January.
If he is still not fit or playing for the shirt by the start of next season after a full preseason I would try to sell him in at the end of the summer window.
He is on a reported 200k a week, not going to be easy to shift with his current performances.

He needs to watch some videos of talented midfielders, and the work they put in off the ball too. For example: Modric and Gascoigne to name but two. The movement, the showing for the ball, dropping deep to take it off the CB’s, the bursts forwards past players, the set ups, and the goals.

Jose’s had enough, like us fans. He called him out and it’s being proven that he was correct.

Players like Lo Celso, Moura, Alli etc are busting a nut every game due to our current situation, whilst he just ambles around the pitch. It would be disheartening.

I can understand poor form due to being unsettled in a new league, however the only thing to do in that situation is to get to work and on current evidence, he isn’t up to it.

Sadistic perverts

He's an incredible talent but the worrying thing here is that it looks like it's more than just a fitness issue restricting him.

It feels like an attitude problem. Now I'm not sure on that but if it is its only going to one way.

Hopefully it's resolved soon enough and we start to see some real performances, not just fleeting glimpses.

At the end of the window?

That’s not how we usually work. Don’t we usually like to have the money in the bank first after drawing it out for months?

Selling him would mean a summer transfer drama. Whilst I don’t like him, selling him would give the club an excuse in the market.

I'm no fan of Carra, but great to see one media actually analysing Ndombele's performance (or lack of effort) rather than just focusing on spinning a story from Jose's words. Those clips of Ndombele ambling about the pitch and marking himself by not making space away from the closest Burnley players are damning. All I hope from this is that he gets the message it's not good enough, accepting that he only has himself to blame, and then knuckles down to get himself into shape and fight for the team. My god he has all the talent in the world, talent that other footballers can only dream of. World class ability with pub team mentality and physicality. Fingers crossed he can kick on now.

I do wonder if Mourinho asked his mates at Sky to purposely show the analysis and bring attention to it

Sheffield United players are a perfect example of this. Everyone breaking their bollocks for each other and leaving nothing out there. Might not have all the talent that most of ours do but they're ahead of us in the league for a reason.

We go to them in a few weeks time and that is not going to be an enjoyable one to sit through.

This is the kind of post that smacks of just having favouritism for a player, one i find odd in this case as he has really done very little to inspire such allegiance.

I get it when its the other way round - "I'd rather have a player on the pitch who gives 110% every game" They get cult hero status regardless of ability.

This, however, I just don't get.
