My name is Cuthbert. Now you know who i am. ?. True there was no need for the merry-go-round esp when 4 posts after my original post someone stated the reliable journo who had also stated the same thing. Thus negating the reason for me to state where i got info from.

Ok fine, everyone else is stupid and you did it perfectly.

His instagram post came in the right moment.

The KING won't leave until he conquers his PFA Player of the Year award.

I think back to when Tanguy assisted Son's goal against City and how pretty much everyone ran to Tanguy first to celebrate before they ran to Son. His teammates love him and enjoy playing with him because he makes it all look effortless. You can even see Son making an impassioned plea to Tanguy that "this is where he belongs on the pitch" creating magic.

Mark my words, when the season resumes or restarts he is going to be an absolute menace to the entire league.

Cue the optimistic ratings, but I reckon he’s going to go on and prove everyone wrong.

Surely at this point, Jose and the coaching staff are saying to him:
- you've obviously got the talent
- it's obvious where things have gone wrong
- we can fix this together IF you want to

If the response to that had been negative I can only assume, given Jose's track record, that the narrative around him now would be very different. And would he really have been having such a personal training session with Jose while breaching Government guidelines?

I take plenty (albeit slightly glass half full) of encouragement from this. I thought his days were numbered but maybe this will work itself out.

If it can, we've got a World Class player - surely it's worth giving it another go if there's willing on both parties.

Now all we need to do is fix the whole defense....

I hope you are right. My concern is this, if its an attitude issue, will this ever change?

I doubt it's an attitude problem, I reckon he had a hard time settling to begin with, the injury and then change of managers, the lose of Sissoko next to him, a few factors compounded to make it seem like this all lies at his feet which it doesn't.

However if he had genuinely been lazy, which I doubt, then I have no reservations regarding him because you can't work with a player who doesn't want to work at all.

If he's not committed, I say we go for Marcel Sabitzer from Leipzig to replace him. He's already flirting with the idea of moving to us in the media, and as much as I love Gio, he made him (and our entire midfield) look like amateurs in both legs against us, specifically the second leg. (That's more a testament as to how good he is rather than me slating our midfield)

According to ballbag

“Talking about Spurs, Ndombele has been offered to Barcelona but they said no to him.”

No Tanguy Ndombele – Arthur swap proposal either
Balague further added that contrary to reports, Tottenham also were not interested in securing the signing of Barcelona midfielder Arthur Melo. It had been claimed that Spurs were looking at the Brazilian and were open to a swap deal with Ndombele.

Instead, he stated that our club are looking at Nelson Semedo as a potential option, but no offer has been made (h/t Daily Star).

“Arthur was not wanted by Spurs. What Spurs want is a right-back and they ask for Semedo.”

Arthur has the potential to become one of the top midfield talents for his age group! Why would we not want him, but I probably think he was not available. teams like Bayern and Inter would be in for him if he actually was. Also N'Dombele has that potential too, lets not sell him!

Think people seeing that maybe he asked(wants) to leave as black and white, but if you think about it from his point of view it makes sense.

He’s hard a very tough few months in a strange country at 22 years old. Sure there is a very big part of him that thinks this is gonna work let’s see what the options are. Didn’t sonny do the same after his first season?

Maybe he told the club? Maybe we told him that it’s been a bad season and he’s very much part of the plans and the players want him the manager wants him and he can turn it around.

Someone saying they want to leave could be a cry for help, support to be loved to feel part of the group. Nothing is black and white.

Even from those Instagram comments it gives me a feeling that some of the players want to support him after possibly seeing him get slated and singled out whilst amongst the group. Of course that could be completely wrong, but I wouldn't be surprised. I think they all know just how talented he is too from training with him and of course want to support him in bringing that onto the match pitch.

I saw an Instagram video today of Dembele and his time with us and just watching that had me thinking that both players share so many traits. Ndombele has the same skill with the ball, but not the same show of dominance and just general strength. Not even strength as in just physical, but strength of his position and territory.

I still can't get the promising thought of a firing and confident Ndombele with Lo Celso and a solid hardworking DM behind them in the middle of our midfield.

There's a well respected journalist who disagrees, I'm just not going to tell you who he is.

All I'd say is that would same journalist have imagined that Sissoko could have turned it around like he did? Unless of course that you mean that Jose really doesn't fancy him, in which case that's another matter altogether.

My post was a joke in reference to an earlier conversation in the thread.

Edit: for clarification the journalist to my knowledge does not exist.

Sorry let me clarify. Im not ITK. He wants to leave. Not sure how that constitutes me being all over the place. reliable sports journalists have gone on record saying he has asked to leave. Me saying ive heard from someone reliable that he wants to leave when that information is already that does not break any rules. Its not like its from total left field. It was on twitter before 8pm which is when i said something. So maybe no one in here was talking about him wanting to leave but the statement of he has asked to leave was already out there. Not that i had seen that when i was told. I waited to see if it was corroborated anywhere. Which it has. Not claiming to have any knowledge that no one else does. And wasnt leading anyone on a merry dance. I stated something which is in the know and then said i wasnt quoting any rumours. The fact people get upset that people might know more than someone is what caused the merry dance as people started demanding to know sources etc etc. Quite sad really

You do know that ITK stands for In The Know right?
