Mourinho has been perfectly okay with abject performances from quite a few up to this point. And we know damn well it will be more of the same tomorrow. I’d rather take a chance with an incredibly talented player than live with more of the same shit from Sissoko/Winks.

I had my head turned at the Real Madrid game at Wembley and have some loyalty for Winks never since. MS whilst shit at the start had improved and rather see them both.

If he’d of stayed higher he’d been blamed for us having no shape

Possibly. I don't know. Overall I'm not trying to say he is useless. I think he does offer something we need (positive passing), and transitioning the ball from defence to attack has been one of our worse MF problems (to the point where a 50% disheartened Eriksen is still better than everything else we had) so he addresses that.

However I dont feel that he looks comfy under pressure (can't turn, can't buy himself time). Maybe he hasn't had enough time to adjust to PL; maybe he takes over one season, I don't know. But if you look at other MFs with similar roles, let's say Jorgino or Kovavic, even Lo Celso, they look alot more convincing.

I think he can turn and he can work in pressure. I think sitting on the bench and alienated doesnt help a players psyche

We are not in a position to let him have a kick about as we need results. Some fans would be happy if he showed some hunger and desire too!

If there was anytime that we don’t need points it’s now. We are simply playing out the season.

Probably need to go with Winks and NDombele at least to start. Sissoko is not a central midfielder

This is it, though. Once you're a Jose favourite for running around a lot, you can play as shit as you like with the ball and play every week, it seems. Young players who make some mistakes, or who are low on confidence or match fitness, get binned after one game.

With all due respect, you can very much label that critique under Poch's tenure too.

No he isn’t, but who else is going to cover for Aurier who seemingly has to play (unfortunately) because we haven’t got a fit alternative?

Bench/Alienated is a classic Mourinho thing. Off the top of my head I think he did it to Martial..can't remember who else. He said recently that Lo Celso 'passed his test' as well. That's not to say what Mourinho does is right, but that's his style. It's very old school.

It's not right as things have changed with people too. Respect goes both ways now or it doesn't go

I never understood why he marginalized Mata to a bit role.
He had a serious flare up with Pogba too

So was Arsene Wenger. Some managers just aren't right for this particular club, though.

No he wasn't. Mourinho is in the same league as trapottoni and fergie. You then have the likes of wenger, paisley, shankly and guardiola. Anyway the point remains his experience and judgement must count for something before it is dismissed by a load of fans from a football forum. And i don't even like the bloke and never wanted him here.

I used to work in finance. Alot of the 'seasoned' traders have that type of mentality (Mourinho one). They think if you can climb out of the hole they created it is resilience, if not then you lack grit.

I don't know if it's the right thing to do. However Martial for example has positive to say (since he passed the test) so he kind of 'forever wears a badge of honor'.

Maybe it's a male alpha thing.

I wouldn’t worry about tanguy not coming on in this match. Was never gonna come on, especially when we went 2-1 up and needed someone disciplined and aware defensively. Based on the Bournemouth match, he def deserves more playing time, Newcastle is a perfect match for him to start with them most likely sitting back.

Surely Tanguy is done. Our record signing can't even hold down sub minutes. If it raises enough cash to get a good RB and DM, i really don't care at this point.

Shame, he has special talent, but that's worthless without work ethic.
