Well I hope next season Jose is able to get us rolling in the league. He'll be hungry for it for sure. We can't be this bad again.

Tottenham Hotspur 0-1 Newcastle
Leicester City 2-1 Tottenham Hotspur
Brighton & Hove Albion 3-0 Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham Hotspur 1-1 Watford
Everton 1-1 Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham Hotspur 1-1 Sheffield United
Norwich City 2-2 Tottenham Hotspur
Southampton 1-0 Tottenham Hotspur
Watford 0-0 Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham Hotspur 2-3 Wolverhampton Wanderers
Burnley 1-1 Tottenham Hotspur

That's why we'll be lucky to make the Europa League, not because of our results against Chelsea and United and certainly nothing to do with Chelsea winning a home game. We have consistently failed to win games against opponents with a fraction of our resources. That bunch adds up to 27 dropped points in games we should be winning 80% of the time at least, or the difference between where we are and being 9 points clear in 2nd. If Mourinho can make basic improvements and cut much of that nonsense out next season - and there've been positive signs - we'll be back.

I'd say that in each one of those games you've noted our defending was passive and devoid of stability, even the draws were bad.

I recall in a lot of games we were allowing 10+ shots against even the likes of Norwich. That's why these last two games have been much more positive, that number has dropped significantly. We've still got a way to go, but now we can focus on getting sharper and continue working the defensive structure.

It's like people forget about the billion pound stadium.

It's a great stadium. We focused on off-the-pitch investments and strategy. Liverpool focused on winning at football. Now we have a much better stadium than Liverpool, but who do you think has created more lasting history?

Honestly, that Audi cup has turned you lot into a right self entitled bunch of brats. You're expecting us to win every trophy now?

It's almost like you're forgetting we can pour pints from the bottom.

I want us to win the league ??
We will, one day. With millions at the ground, at the pub, in the streets, with their friends and family, on the open-top bus tour. Beers outdoors in the sun. It's gonna be glorious.

I've always wondered what winning the league would feel like.

Then Moura's goal in Amsterdam happened and I think it would feel pretty similar to that, so I'm happy with my life, even if I don't get to see us win the league.

I always hope that Levy watches stuff like Liverscum and the plaudits they get and hope that he just says you know what - I fucking want that... and fucking does something about it.

We were better than they were three or four years ago... but they just went off on one... like really went off on one... and got what they deserved. I hate the ****s...
