Just watching the Wolves game now and it's depressing how much much more purposeful and well drilled they are in possession than us. Everyone know where to run, which angles to hit, when to switch the play - they just look like a coherent, well coached unit that is completely maximizing their potential. On the other hand we look completely random in possession and almost every single player is underperforming.

Obviously there's quality in the side: Jiminez is a great player and Ruben Neves has to be one of the top 3 long passers in the league, and everyone knows what Traore can do, but I'd say, overall, we have far more quality in the final 3rd of the pitch, yet can barely muster a shot on target at the moment.

I'm so bored of these games where a mid- to lower table team turns out in a match against City and loses 4-0 or more without City breaking sweat.

It's just not fun to watch.

It's weird isn't it. This period you end up watching these games you would never bother with under normal circumstances. This is just what the PL is actually like.

You have to remember that Nuno has been there 3 years and those players whilst technically better than Sissoko etc have had a lot of time to build up chemistry.

Pen Wolves. Digne kicks Podence mid-pirouette. Now we'll get all the whiny Mancs coming out of the woodwork about the Fernandes one that got so much stick, but the difference here is that Digne actually kicks Podence, he doesn't get stamped on like the Villa bloke did.

Buried by Jimenez.

Was there actually any contact with that pen?
Yes, Digne kicks Podence's ankle. You can debate whether there was enough for the Wolves man to fall but if he does those are given 10 times out of 10.

Soft penalty.

yes he catches him (barely) but the key for me is the foot that is touched by the defender is subsequently planted with no balance problems from Podence, then he realizes he's been touched and throws himself.

Pickford will end up going the same way as Joe Hart. Looks like he has a mistake in him every game.

Are Everton fans as worried as us? Or are they showing patience?

Ancelotti is a wily coach, very good tactically but hes not someone who gets his teams playing with more intensity.

They were looking a lot better for a while after Ancelotti moved to a 4-4-2, Richarlison and Calvert-Lewin were finding each other really well and they looked like they had some momentum, but it's completely stalled since the break.

Their lack of a DM after Gueye left last summer and his direct replacement Gbamin has been out for almost the whole season is what really bites them.

I like the kind of player Jota is. Always running, always starting whenever Wolves wants to create an attacking play. Good pass to Traorè, scores goals.

This is fucking disgusting. Im so fucking angry right now. This shit has got to go. Threats and extreme racism all in one. Ban this guy from every ground in the country and lock him up for a few years.

Yeeeah Villa are going down.

Looks like Reina tried to dive his way to a free kick, ran into Ayew and flung himself to the ground giving Sakho an open goal o_O

Disallowed for handball when it came off the top of Sakho's shoulder, what the actual fuck?

Did the Villa manager just say "we got away with one, that's a terrible decision"?

That is awful though.
