We should be using it for fringe players, players returning to fitness and youth. I don't want to see the first team play in it until knock outs. We should be more than capable of getting there with fringe players. At the end of the day, it's another competition to try and win, it would be great to be the first winners of it. Even my Chelsea mate said he wouldn't have been against them being in it, to go and win it, be the first team to win all 3.

So yeah, win this, get back into the CL next season, win that, be the first team to win all 3.

It's just about how we approach it, if we can approach it in a way where our first team isn't looking leggy on a sunday having travelled to the ends of europe and we're able to really focus on developing tactically in training through the week then it won't be a problem.

If we're playing sunday, having to spend 2 days recovering, 1 day preparing for the ECL, playing thursday, recovering friday and 1 day preparing for the game sunday then it's going to be a problem.

The first team shouldn't be played until the later stages. Use a combination of youth and reserve players/players coming back from injury.

We need to keep our strongest 11 fit for the league games, no point using or risking them in games where a combination of the above should win.

Leicester must thank us for pushing them to the top of this table when the super overwhelming fav is Penchester United.

This feels like a match where Wolves keep them out for 80 odd minutes then United score a jammy goal, then it opens up, then United score more and it ends like 3 or 4 nil and looks like a thumping.

Prove me wrong, Wolves.
