*Edit: Third time I’ve changed the title ?

About time we had one of these threads rather than the title one...

Top three is looking pretty nailed on at the moment, Liverpool and City are not going to drop many points and Leicester look brilliant, plus they have an advantage similar to the season they won the league, no CL/Europa fixtures piling up.

Then there’s us, Chelsea, Arsenal and United. Chelsea are looking the most consistent as it stands so we’re going to really need to improve to grab Top 4 again in my opinion.

Not gonna lie, I'm not even thinking about the top 4 until our form improves. Then I'll start looking at the table and assessing stuff as I usually do!

I think we fucked it personally. Let’s be honest, we are getting nothing tomorrow which will push us even further behind. A win against a crappy pub side Red star doesn’t change the fact we have been complete dogshit this season. Get a decent result tomorrow then I’ll start to believe again, but that’s highly doubtful.

It seems unlikely this season, but then there were loads of seasons under Wenger where the Scum looked nailed on to finish outside the Top 4 before putting a run together in the last few months, so who knows.

we really do need to reset and rebuild this team. What has happened at Leicester is no surprise to many. They’ve used good scouting to sign quality players not targeted by the moneybags clubs, and bedded them in next to season pros like Vardy and good young players like Chilwell, Barnes etc.

It’s everything we should have been doing at the end of the 17/18 season. Fair play to them.

Haven’t lost hope completely but we need to start performing and getting results soon.

So frustrating as the teams you expect to be our rivals for top four aren’t performing either.

Although there is a bit of a way to go assuming the top two spots have gone so that leaves 3rd and 4th to play for, that for me leaves it wide open as the usual suspects including us are not good enough to make those spots a guarantee so I think Chelsea will sneak it and Leicester will nab the final two spots.

I’ve personally written this season off. To me , we need to rebuild, I won’t be surprised either way if we achieve top 4 or miss out.

Man C and Liverpool are nailed on for top 4 the other 2 spots are between Leicester Chelsea Arsenal Tottenham Man Utd.

Top two are nailed on, that's it.

Leicester have started well and are definite contenders but to say they're nailed on for third is absurd.

We should of beaten them a few weeks ago, and we're in the worst shape of our lives.

Secondly, whilst their first eleven is strong they don't have enough strength in depth if they incur injuries.

The other two spots are up for grabs and providing Poch builds from the other night, we'll be well in the mix.

Next 6 games will tell us a lot more.

Early doors yet, I'm holding out for a Burnley win today and then we'll go from there, anything against Liverpool is a bonus but we need to kick on results wise from next week.

Fancy Burnley as well. They're strong at home and Chelsea put in a big effort away to Ajax on Wednesday.

I think the teams in the current top4 are the ones that will be there at the end of the season, in whatever order.

Don't forget, by tomorrow evening we'll have already been to:

City away
Arsenal away
Leicester away
Liverpool away

A bit too arrogant to completely leave out teams that are very much better off than Tottenham at the moment. Leicester for instance?
There will be no Tottenham in top 4 this season without extreme changes.

Burnley gifting goals to potential top four rivals won’t help either. How the fuck Chelsea are leading I don’t know.

I’m surprised how many of us think midweek has turned things round for us. Be amazed to get anything tomorrow which will mean huge pressure at Everton. Loser of that could be next manager gone
