Its about Bloody Berbatov again !!!!

'Comolli and chairman Daniel Levy are expected to have the final say on whether he would be sold, but Ramos has made it clear he does not want players in his squad who do not want to be there.
"I believe you can't force players to stay in the team if they don't want to," said Spurs boss Ramos.
"It is not good for the team or the player, so I wouldn't stand in anyone's way if they want to leave."

 You tell that Bulgarian Tw@t to start packing his bags .. we do need this kind of petulant behaviour ... F... off

It's not that simple, Alfie. In the Man City programme at the end of last season, Levy wrote that all our best players were on long term contracts and we don't have to sell them. He said people should judge the club on who it buys and sells.

Berbatov must be one of the most popular Spurs players amongst the fans. No matter what the circumstances, having to sell him would be a huge embarrassment to Levy. He was our best player last season, and is probably our only player who could be called world class.

The comment, while understandable, will be viewed by many as Berbatov being forced out of the club, and could have an effect on Ramos as well.

BoF, a voice of reason as always ...

Everytime I look at him and his body language, he does give the distinct impression, time to move on ... I am concerned over the affect this coyuld have over the team ... I for one will not shed a tear when he departs, the club is bigger then HIM !

It is that simple, No player is bigger than the club no mater who it is, we all know Berbatov is world class but who wants a player that doesn't want to play for you, if he wants to go all we can do is get top dollar for him and with that strengthen the rest of the team, it's not as if we don't have 3 other strikers capable of scoring goals is it and don't forget a certain Mr Peckhart knocking on the first team door.

If he wants to leave the club we should not stand in his way, things can only get worse by blocking it or do some people on here want to see another Campbell saga and get nothing for him in few years time.

If the papers are to be believed, we should definitely be looking to get rid of him. No player is bigger blah blah.... What bugs me with Berbatov is how he always lets his agent and family do his talking. If none of this shit was true surly he would come out and deny it?

I love him, but I don't think we should be playing lazy players who are playing like shit.

Bent took his chance at the weekend.

Ledley King?

I know it's not the point of the thread, but my mates and I always discuss/argue about what Spurs players are world class. Everyone usually thinks none of them are, but the only one I always fight for is Ledley.

I wouldn't put Berbatov in the world class bracket due to his inconsistency. It's plagued his career. Sure, injury has plagued Ledley in recent years, but he's such a stunning player. Those who question him (usually none-Yids) are always met with "watch the England/France game where he kept Henry in his pocket" by me.

I bloody love and miss Ledley.

body language - schmody language - the man needs a goal - he needs a mid field that passes him the ball - can't he look pissed off now and then?

All he needs is to be on fire again and to get over the shody way that MJ was treated. He's always said he'll stay for another season and if we are not CL then he'll leave which quite frankly is fair enough.

He is that rarity - an intelligent footballer as his caring for the nurses held in (where ever they were held) showed

I can't help but feel buying Petrov in the summer would have helped his dimeanor. In that Ossie & Ricky kind of way.

It made so much sense on so many levels buying Petrov and that was one of them. Would seem to have been a bit of a blunder.

Dont we think it is possible that the press could just be making a mountain out of a mole hill. Berbatovs body language is of someone who is off form - not someone who is sulky or moody. He always seems genuinely pleased when the team scores (especially when he makes the goal). None of us would be questioning him if he was playing like last season and to be fair he isn't the only one not performing - we've had a bad start. Its the fans who are driving him out of the club that annoy me. How can we forget so easily how well he played for 50+ games last season?

Personally I think his is a great player, just off form. If we sell him it will be down to the people who believer whatever rubbish the papers throw at them and start saying he has an attitude problem. If Berbatov goes on to save our season with 20+ goals, will be questioning his body language? I doubt it.

I hope it was on medical grounds that we turned him down and not, as some Bulgarians are claiming, that we offered him a totally derisory wage. He is, according to JTG, one of Comolli's favourite players; that may be bollocks, of course, but if it's true it could explain the fundamental flaw in our adoption of the Sporting Director system. Comolli isn't told, 'Here's your budget for transfer fees and wages, get on with it', he (and the manager/coach) have to run things past Levy.

What annoys me is that he should never have been playing in the game he got injured in to start with. He should have already been a Spurs player.

How many of Robbie Keane's goals would have been scored without Berbatov?

How many of Keane's other goals have been provided by our other strikers?

How 'good' was Berbatov last season?

Answers to these questions and more to anyone prepared to admit that he is actually a great player and far from the moody sod many of our less intelligent supporters would have us believe. Berbs could go to any club in the land for big money. If Drogba goes (likely) Chelsea will be all over him. Utd already are. We'd be muppets to lose him, and I don't think he's as desperate to get away as everyone says. If he is happy in his football and the club moving in the right direction (i.e. we get over this poor run) he'll stay for a couple of years.

Berbatov can fu*k off to the moon. He can be the greatest player alive, he can be 10 X better than Maradona but i still say fu*k off because his attitude is disgraceful, disrespectful to his teammates, the fans and most importantly the club Tottenham Hotspurs.
fu*k off berbatov, fu*k off
