Antwerp we the better team tonight, end off

No MOTM deserved

We will win fuck all playing like that

I was a sucker in believing that we had turned the corner by becoming a better team

And this is me being calm and rational

But as @The Apprentice said, "In the medium term this might not be that bad a thing, a nice cold hard slap in the chops with reality"

And to end positively @Mr Pink "Silver lining is Jose will have them pumped for Sunday!!"

Just as I was about to give Dele, Bergwijn, and Bale low marks, their subs were very poor as well. Bergwijn especially looked awful though.

the CB pairing deserves no more than a 3/10. Antwerp could have had 4.

fullbacks were not good either and that includes Reguilon, timid offensively and pinned back by their wingbacks.

Winks has no offensive gifts whatsoever, and that really hurts our attack. I have to say I think this is a wake up call, this is still Spurs and we're not title contenders just yet.

Lloris and Aurier is ok, just ok.

We are shocking poor, but credit to Antwerp's defense. Miyoshi looks really good

Well. The players on the periphery didn't do themselves many favours today. Dele and Bergwijn in particular were lacklustre at best. Winks wasn't that great either.

Not much to write home about. Poor showing.

Felt a bit sorry for Ben. Clearly tripped and was no coming backfor their goal which we gifted them. Had they better strikers they could have had at least 2 more. I can't recall many chances on goal for spurs.

I can only assume it was the disjointed nature of having so many swap about. Onto Sunday.

We didn't show up and Antwerp defended like trojans and were solid throughout.

One of those days. They happen. Let's move on.

Lloris didn’t do anything wrong but, given the offensively (and I don’t mean that about going forward) horrific collection of outfield shockers, I’ve voted for none deserved.

i don’t know, i find Winks offensive enough to watch.

None deserved, but aurier I though was okay, better than the rest except maybe Lloris, and he could do nothing about the goal.

Turgid!

thought the H/t sub was harsh on Vinicius and Lo Celso, justified for the other two.

Some of our players look miles off the pace. What’s happened to Stevie B? I Know Bale is way behind in fitness times but he looks ridiculously off the pace at the minute and is playing it so safe all the time.

Credit to Antwerp, fully deserved the win and should’ve won by more.

Clueless from us, going from trying to walk it in to shooting from miles out. Brain dead

Thought Antwerp were brilliant. Unbelievable energy levels

We were much better 2nd half but we still couldn’t get the better of them

There fitness coach must be the same as Mo Farahs!!!

Can’t run around like that for 95mins, not without 'help'

There was an Ndombele shaped hole whereby we could have someone receive, turn and play an incisive through ball to cut open a stodgy defence.

Bad day at the office...

I’d say this was a night when we could have done with ten subs, but the five who came on were just as bad as the five who came off.

Hopefully gives the boys a kick up the bum. A good win on Sunday and this is forgotten.
