I only saw the 2nd half but Dier looks like a new man. His passing was on point, he looked (relatively) quick and he made a match saving tackle. I didn't realise he was this much of a confidence player. Makes you wonder if all of his recent awful form was because he was doubting himself.

Cue a 10 game ban just as he's back to his best.

He deserves all that praise. Hes miles better than any of our players. To say he's "fairly good" is criminal as he brings so so much to the team.

Having said that, those 2 brainfart moments were inexcusable.

As I said, system was the issue and once we made the switch at HT we looked miles better, all in all not a bad point considering we played 120 mins in midweek, are on poor form and went 1-0 down.

He literally came closest to getting a winner for us.
Without his run and pass we don't get the penalty either

2nd half much better and that was due to GLC so he gets MOTM.
