TEAM FORM ==== Leipzig== WWWDD === Spurs LLLDD ====
(All Competitions)

Red Bull Leipzig (RB) are to host us for the first time in any competition, while we are the first English side to visit the RB in an away competitive match.

RB are looking to reach the quarter final of a major European competition for only the second time, reaching that stage in the 2017-18 Europa league before being eliminated by Marseille.

Four of RB's last five CL goal have been penalties, including each of the last three. Only one team has ever scored more than four penalties in a single CL campaign - Barcelona in 2011-12 (5).

We have only lost one of our five away CL games in Germany (W2 D2)' although that defeat came earlier this season away to Bayern Munich in the group stage (3-1).

We have been eliminated from 8 of our last 10 major UEFA European knockout ties after losing the first leg, although we overturned a deficit the last time this happened against Ajax in last season's Champion League semi-final (0-1 first leg, 2-3 second leg).

All three of our CL defeats this season have been against German teams (2 Bayern, 1 Leipzig). Only one team has ever lost more than three in a single campaign all against teams of the same nation, with Leeds Untied losing all five of their games against Spanish oppositions in 2000-01.

We are gonna win this. 3 2.. I think we will rise to the occasion and will be celebrating at the end with a few red bulls...

They'll bloody wish they had their red bull before the game.

Doubt we score 2 goals without a striker. We will 1000% concede a goal or two. Maybe Lucas can do it again...

Weirdly got a good feeling about this. The spirit of Amsterdam and all that.
Some how I felt the same way whilst writing the opening post. (Now I have jinxed it! :()

Well if we are not going to finish top 4 or 5 then we need to win this bloody trophy to get in the champs league next year!

Pressure is off a bit I think. We need to score 2 goals so doesn't really change anything if we concede, which we obviously will. Let's hope it is the Ajax away second half performane we see tonight. COYS.

I’m kinda optimistic about this game. I’m ok and realistic about a potential loss. But sense this could be a pressure off, no expectations match.

I am more hopeful that Dier goes back to back good games. If he does (big if too), then I think there will be a swing in form for others too. Dier’s performance at Burnley could’ve been a flash in the pan, but if it’s a change in his form, then we could see a different run in til the end of the season.

A respectible loss, at least we can then 100% focus on the league, maybe by some miracle we scrape 5th and luck into a CL spot., There is not a hope in hell we can win the CL this year, so not bothered.

In Amsterdam our back-up striker came on in the second half and caused Ajax all sorts of problems...

...unfortunately we don't have that option currently.

No kane, No son, no chance.

Alli and Moura have worked hard in their absence but their finishing and decision making in the final third has been awful and for us to have any hope, they really need to step up.

If we can get some goals from Lo Celso that would also be nice. He seems to have everything else in the game but the goals.

Lo celso, Alli and Moura need to give 9/10 games which means goals.

With Kane, Son and Bergwijn, our entire front line, out and we have to score two goals I can't see us in the next round I'm afraid. I hope we give a good account of ourselves and if we do succeed then I'd like to see on here just how massive a result it will be. If we win I don't want to see one single negative comment because it will truly be enormous.
COYS.
