for the second time, i said 'injuries aside'. that means i accept the injuries and take that into account. for the second time, i would expect THIS TEAM WITH THESE PLAYERS to be performing better. pretty simple really.
...and I'm trying to say that some of these players that are playing have lost that edge due to injury and being overworked.

Look at Toby, he used to be sharp to any danger now he's slower across to it. Alli, used to be really flexible and athletic now he's lost some of it.

Chasing a game three down is hard especially against a side who can move forward so quickly. We are trying but unsurprising lack confidence or real conviction. If only we could just fluke a goal somehow. For once we started on the front foot but were undone by gifting goals without making Leipzig work for them

Gotta build a team around Lo Celso. He’s the one shining light and it says something when I’m enjoying watching one of our players through performances like this. His desire, effort, skill and confidence is admirable in this current shower. I’m sure Mourinho will if he can.

That team needed more than two players to become winners.

Well, Leicester won the league so that should tell you everything. It was a window of opportunity with the top teams underperforming or in disarray but we weren't able to capitalise.

Our final ball is always disappointing. Winks, Lamela. All guilty of releasing the ball so so late.

Very disappointed in Mourinho that he so far hasn’t gone all guns blazing we have nothing to lose, feels like he doesn’t want us to get embarrassed tonight which is pathetic from him

He talked about To Dare Is To Do before the game but isn’t backing it up

I can't stand Mourinho at the moment but today he set us up to play (well forced to set us up to play cos we were losing).

Players have let him down. I think Hugo should have done better for first and second Aurier should have done better with the header. Sessegnon has been poor. Winks has been poor.

Maybe playing so negative for the last 2 months and saying the team is dead and not good enough has come and bit him in the ass. However, the players should surely be able to motivate themselves to want to win in CL but I don't see it
