Oh ,and by the way, £600,000 a week?!, just say that slowly to yourself, its bloody crazy!
Ed Sheeran earned £39,000,000 in 2018.
Or, if you like weekly, £750,000
For a chubby bloke that can play 4 chords.

Because he can't find a team who will pay his wage, he's wanted to leave since the previous season where him and Zidane fell out particularly since he left him out of the CL final.

In 2017, Brittany Spears raked in $56m
Football players on that kind of money are the very best of their industry.
The above are nowhere near that.
Injury history (number of games missed):
9-10 (Spurs) - 5
10-11 (Spurs) - 9
11-12 (Spurs) - 1
12-13 (Spurs) - 6

Last four seasons don't look too good, do they?

Not all of the 25 men earn hundreds of thousands a week.Yes plus Ed Sheeran quoted as an example . All these are solo stars , not part of 25 man squads

Fact of the matter is, football generates huge amounts of money world wide. Where would you rather see that money go?
Before this was ever an argument, when footballers earned normal salaries, people used musicians as their point of reference.
Ed Sheeran got £39m and, despite being nonplussed about him as a talent, I'd rather he got it than someone in the background like a promoter.
Same as footballers. 90k people a week go to see Barcelona play because they're the best team in Spain, have the best player ever and a number of other top players.
I'd rather see Messi get $500k a week than whoever the chairman of Barcelona is and his board members.
I'd rather our players earned more than Daniel Levy.
The other option, to stop the transfer fees and huge wages, is to cap what clubs can earn, what TV and sponsors can pay, what merchandise can cost, how much tickets cost. Until that happens, the money generated is going to go up and so are the salaries of the star players, the crowd pleasers, the golden nuggets.
I could be the very very very best at what I do, but I'm never going to earn much over a low 6 figure salary because my industry, my company, doesn't generate billions.
I catch your drift but it's all a nonsense
Ed Sheeran is lucky not to be out of work
and busking up the West End.
I'd vote for the highlighted bit.
Some of the generators of this financial hype
like Abramovich are crooks
or billionaires riding roughshod over their subjects
and put a lot more in than they take out.
Sky is a total rip off.
Some of the golden Nuggets are gilded stones
fans are the least considered
the whole edifice is a hollow sham
built on ill gotten money for the most part.
It cannot be justified in any way
and the monster will consume itself
at any time.
Gareth had an attitude problem it seems and has had for a while.
No he never wanted to leave. RM now couldn't give him away. Having won all major trophies, he no longer has the hunger. Much as we would love to see him again at the Lane, he would not want to do double, triple sessions under Poch.Because he can't find a team who will pay his wage, he's wanted to leave since the previous season where him and Zidane fell out particularly since he left him out of the CL final.

If you look at the number of games played by Toby/Jan/Rose/Lamela/Kane and Winks, those stats don't look great, either. We all know that Bale has a fair share of injuries, but his abilities as a footballer would be a great asset to Spurs (if it ever happens).
He really doesn’t like him does he?
