Our defence could certainly do with a leader and organiser. Ruben Dias would be better than anyone I could've expected. Honestly I didn't see us getting Doherty or Bale, so I can't even say I doubt this will happen. What a fucking window.

Previous reports from Benfica suggest the club is struggling in the short term financially....Daniel on the pounce per ITK...if we can stump more cash upfront (by selling Rose, Foyth, CCV) you'd imagine Jose would be all in for Dias. Helps that himself and Dier speak the language too.

But Morgan's only here for a few months (unless things change). I can't see a multi year deal being signed on the basis of a three month loan. And if there is a deal in place wouldn't they want it announced asap so they can get publicity from the new signings?
She’s at Spurs until the end of the season.

I didn't realize it had changed. It was reported as being a short term deal initially and the podcasts I listen to all said it was only until the end of the year.

Yeah when the Athletic’s American soccer journalists reported it, they said it was for 3 months. But Spurs’ announcement said its to the end of the season. The NWSL is in it a bit though thanks to the pandemic so i think theres a chance players like Press, Lavelle, Heath, Morgan, Zadorsky, Kennedy, etc could all be in England for longer.

TBH I’m not sure who our best CB is atm, they all have a mistake in them. We definitely need a top CB to come in and partner one of them and hope we can have a VVD effect
