I think he looks a quality player and certainly has the potential to do very well wherever he ends up. I'll probably be jealous if he goes elsewhere but not really bothered if he stays at Fulham at all. Like others have said there are other positions that we need to address first and foremost. I still even see Lucas as a new signing to be honest as well.

Just a guess that the results of this weekend determines which players we were going to decide to pull the trigger on which options of we were going for based on the results of the Championship playoff and the CL Finals which determines Pot 2 or 3...

Because from the bottom of my heart, I honestly believe people have gone OTT about the kid. I rate him. He is s nice kid. No more than 25m

I would prefer many others abroad at 35m much less. I think he will be decent in the EPL, but players are much sharper, and smarter. You need more to your game. 50m, I would expect much more. And I have seen him over 2 seasons, a total of very close to 35 times.
I would agree Herc but I also think the whole market has gone a bit head up its own rear on fees. Hope other targets are getable and gotten for his position (whether we viewed him as an AM or LWB). I also hope that we haven't been waiting to see the result here to determine how we attack the transfer market hoping he would fall into our grasps. 3ish weeks until the World Cup. Long time in transfer season I suppose.

So by logic, if we now don’t spend the $50M on Sess as demanded by Fulham, we would channel that into the other positions- maybe the One Midfielder that we are still negotiating with the club in for Toby, the other for the CM options in France / Germany and De Ligt ... all would stack up to $150M

So with Fulham now officially back in the PL this one is dead for at least 1 season you would think. Will be interesting to see how he develops next season. I’m sure we will stay in contact throughout the 18/19 season.

It will be too late then. We’ve seen this happen with a lot of players

He provided a lovely assist and defended well when Odoi was sent off but he didn’t look out of place (in a good way) in comparison to everyone else. I personally don’t think Onomah has the right mentality to be of any use to us at the moment but even in his cameo you could see a touch of class about him... whereas Sess still looks incredibly raw and like a rabbit in headlights at times... for Fulham to say he’s worth circa £50m is ludicrous at this stage in his career.

As you said, you would expect a lot more for £50m. Albeit not the same position the likes of Kai Havartz, Malcom, Chiesa, NDombele, Pulisic, Aouar and De Jong all play in the top flight of their respective leagues and more importantly are producing the goods... you would expect them to cost the same or less in comparison to what Fulham want for Sess.

The idea of signing Sessegnon is appealing but not sure where a 50m 19 year old would fit into our current team. Word is that Rose is set to stay, so no chance of replacing him with Ryan. As for attacking mids, we already have Son and Moura (plus Eriksen/Lamela/Dele) vying for positions. Very unlikely that Sessegnon displaces any of those players.

If like herc says Fulham rate him at 50 million he isn’t ready for our first 11 much rather spend that 50 million on someone who is going to come in and make an instant difference aka martial/ zaha ! Thanks for the info as always herc ?

Fulham rate him at 50m. FACTS!!!

Is he worth that price?

Serious question

My answer: NO!!!

I want to spend that price on many similar aged players out there, actually, you can get them for region of 3
Cannot make up my mind what he actually is. Not a wide player seems to play just off the corner of the area. Can certainly see a pass @nd deliver it at right pace @nd can obviously score goals. Would be worth 20-25 m plus any add ons . If we bought him I think lamela would go

Cheer up- at least we get the lunatic Mitrovic back in the Prem

I like him . You're spot on, he's a fucking nutjob, but he looks like a real bastard to play against. I reckon he's one of those players that you'd rather have on your team than playing against you.

Have to go all in for Martial now

But don't you think it really is looking like United will downright refuse to deal with us?

Someone mentioned Depay the other day. Looks like he's properly rediscovered his mojo when it comes to goals & assists. Couldn't he be a potential option?

He looks ok and his stats say he has something. But... he won't improve our first team. Not worth the money that has been mentioned. A punt at £12m yes, not at £40m plus. Hope he stays at Fulham and we can judge him properly next season.

And at least J**n T**ry isn't happy tonight ?

Even if we did match fulhams valuation i'm not sure he'd want to leave. Why should he? He's guanteed to start in a team that he is comfortable at earning a good wage.
He only needs to look at patrick roberts to realise he made the right decision in staying. He has his whole career to move to a bigger club. At the moment he's better off where he is.
Pleased for the lad.

If he came into out team ,would he improve it , I don’t think so , still too raw for me as you say even 25 mil
Is a lot . I doubt he would get into the starting line up right now . I’ve only saw the last three appearances , I still don’t see the big deal , maybe I’m missing something .

I don’t see him adding any more to the team what Son does on the left and would he be any better at left back than Davies/Rose?

Huge potential but for us to take an immediate step up next season this kid is not the answer.

Highly doubt he will leave now with a guaranteed starting spot in Fulham’s team next season!

Big money and a big risk but I could see him worth 200m in 2 seasons and at current prices so let's get him in.

Fulham are now a premier club and from Sessesgnon point of view he'd be absolutely silly to jump ship now. Good luck to the kid if he stays.

Another angle might be for Fulham to sell and use the money to strengthen their squad to stand a better chance of staying up.
