If he wants to come be 4th choice I have no issues with it. I highly doubt that it's true though, you'd think he wants starts.

Shawcross is simply a younger version of Dawson, who'd cost a lot more than what we've been offered for Mikey.

Going into the new season with Gallas, Kaboul, Verts and Caulker, all of whom are more composed in possession than Shawcross, is fine by me. Unless Kaboul's knee injury is more serious than we're being told....

Nicely understated PC:

1. "a bit thuggish" = rugby player on a football pitch, he's a complete thug
2. "4th choice" = 5th choice at best, let's not aim low

just comments about the potential of this player at Spurs and no judgment against PC - alles gut!
