There were rumours Inter wanted him in the summer but were only prepared up to £11m whereas Levy reportedly wanted £30m for him. Given his rapidly declining fitness and even in this market, £10-15m is the best we can hope for. It’s sad to say but it’s time to let Moussa go.
If we could get 15mil for Dembele we need to take that and run.

Would be a very smart signing.

Seen clips of him a few times, he’s enormous, about 6ft4-5

Have seen Berge live and he impressed me, but I think he's a little too 'nice'...we need a midfielder with a little more steel in the middle of the park IMO.

Dembele is out of contract in the summer. We are not getting much, if anything, for him. Best we can do is to move him on for a few quid and get his wages off the books.

I agree, just responding to someone's post. If we got 10 I'd be shocked.

I can see Winks turning into a version of Scott Parker. If Berge's a bit silkier then they could form a great partnership.

The key to a transfer would be Dembele or Wanyama on the way out. We could then slip Berge into their slot in the squad for the prem & UCL.
That still leaves Foyth unregistered which is still a problem.

The ideal would be to ship of Vorm and Dembele, who’s contracts are up this summer, and replace them with a midfielder of any description and either a youth gk or a steady English gk from a lower club.

We should be able to flog Vorm. Dembele’s fitness could be an issue. And fuck knows what’s happening to Wanyama but I wouldn’t be surprised if we tried to shift him- again another player with long term injury concerns

Can't help being reminded of Tom Huddlestone. Make of that what you will.
